Electronic dance music icon AFROJACK, known for the 6x platinum “Give Me Everything” by Pitbull featuring Ne-Yo and timeless dance music staples like “Take Over Control,” has teamed up with fellow Dutch dance music icon and former 2 x world No.1 DJ Hardwell, known for prior global hits like “Spaceman” and “Apollo,” and more recently propelling the Big Room Techno scene with his REBELS NEVER DIE album, for a new, exhilarating single, “Push It.” The thrilling new collaboration, a joint release on AFROJACK’s WALL Recordings and Hardwell’s Revealed Recordings and featuring singer/songwriter Meryll, is available now on all DSPs and all streaming services HERE.


Following their past collaborative efforts on “Hollywood” in 2016 and “Hands Up” in 2017, “Push It” sees AFROJACK and Hardwell continue to blend their extremely popular styles and sounds to create a track that is sure to please listeners from around the world. Amsterdam Dance Event’s largest event has released the first names for their 2023 edition, adding AMF mainstays Afrojack, Armin van Buuren and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike as well as fresh faces by way of James Hype, Meduza and an unannounced headliner for an AMF debut performance.


ALDA and Insomniac have unveiled the first acts on the monumental line-up for the 2023 edition of AMF. Amsterdam Dance Event’s biggest event will see performances of several familiar faces, including Afrojack, Armin van Buuren and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. Interestingly though, going into its second decade of existence, the brand is diversifying their line up with the addition of James Hype, Meduza and Purple Disco Machine as well as an unannounced headliner, slated for a debut AMF performance. Rounding out the line-up are Dutch heavy hitters Headhunterz and Israeli duo Vini Vici. Tickets for the flagship event will go on sale on May 24th at, starting at €89,00.

Also making their AMF debuts will be British DJ James Hype and Italian hit making trio Meduza. After gaining notoriety as a viral DJ, James Hype shot to stardom with his mega hit Ferrari. Ferrari was one of the biggest songs of 2022 and took over the charts all over the globe, cementing James Hype as one of the artists to watch. Meduza have been a mainstay in the global pop charts ever since their break-out single Piece Of Your Heart, which was followed up by the subsequently successful Lose Control and Paradise. Two Dutch electronic music powerhouses join forces in the form of Nicky Romero and Afrojack's new track "Back To Where We Started." The release seamlessly fuses both Romero's and Afrojack's styles, making for a banger of a track with elements of big room and progressive house. "Back To Where We Started" opens with energetic beats reminiscent of EDM's heyday in the aughts, and it becomes clear that veteran fans and new ones alike will be served a dose of nostalgia. It climbs into a breakdown that builds up heavy anticipation before a hard-hitting drop that's simply meant for the festival or club scene. This is the very first time that Nicky Romero and Afrojack have collaborated after a long history of remixing each other's works, such as Romero's remixes of Afrojack's "One More Day" and "Hero," and Afrojack's interpretations of Nicky's "Okay" and "Rise."
