Best of 2022 Interview with The Kith
The Dutch DJ duo The Kith, a.k.a. two brothers named Rowan and Christian, is rapidly entering the Dance Music industry. With full passion, the two brothers work hard to take their music to the highest level. Over the past two years, the duo has found their way into their current styles: a combination of Deep House and Tech House. Their latest release 'Devine' in collaboration with Josh Vorster (released on 2Dutch) reflects this unique style very well, this track has already been supported by many labels and among others Spinnin' Records and artists such as Alok, MOTi and R3HAB.
More than 3 million streams on Spotify and support from the biggest DJs in the genre such as VIZE, EDX and MOTi, show that there is already crazy appreciation and interest in their music. In addition, the first (international) bookings for the festival season are already being made.
In 2023 the journey will continue, a number of promising releases are on the agenda in collaboration with major artists and labels. In addition the youngest brother will start his studies in Electronic Music.

The Kith: Our guestmix for the new episode of 2 Dutch radio is full of our most loved tracks. To highlight one track for 2022 that would be 'SIDEPIECE - Don't Keep Me Waiting' , we've crushed several parties with this track.

The Kith: We're the most proud of our solo release 'The Kith - Can't Get Enough' , which has been released on Deep Universe and it got already streamed over 650,000 in a few months.

The Kith: Tim Hox, we've followed him since the beginning of 2022 , he's doing great and had several great releases this year.

The Kith: Our Deep House Cover Remix of Nightlight - ILLENIUM got our most streamed track of 2022, which we produced in collaboration with Harddope, major artist in Deep House / Slap House.

The Kith: One of our favourite remixers of all time is AUGUSTE, this upcoming talent from France is amazingly performing over the last couple of years. Keep an eye on this guy.

The Kith: Melsen got a number of uptempo tech house bangers with some disco and melodic vibes. These bangers are so well produced.

The Kith: Zonderling released one of the best EPs of the year, it's called "Ondertitel". Don't miss it out.

The Kith: By far this is Martin Garrix ft. Shaun Farrugia - If We'll Ever Be Remembered, these lyrics in one word: WOWW! So amazing! The lyrics let you emotionally fly.

The Kith: Our friend James (a.k.a. imallryt) had a crazy year, he did so well in many tracks and he worked so hard for it. As a major success last month he released his collaboration with Kaskade and Deadmau5 (a.k.a. kx5) - Avalanche.

The Kith: We noticed that 2-Dutch is making huge steps and they are rapidly entering the Tech House and Deep House music industry. Internationally they are growing their fanbase and they are doing so great in their way of working.

The Kith: Love the music video of Duvall, Sam Gray - Good Feeling.
15) Best social media response you may have received about your music or your DJ performance of 2022:
The Kith: We received personal compliments on our new music of MOTi during ADE when we attend a Demo Drop event at Revealed office in Amsterdam.
16)Best club event /festival/music conference of 2022 with short comment:
The Kith: We've attend Tomorrowland this year and it feels so great to be there (also as a guest) , it would be a dream to perform there. We've seen our friend Mick Mazoo , he did so great!
17) Your Best personal DJ Gig & DJ performance of 2022 with short comment:
The Kith: During the Vierdaagse Feesten in Nijmegen, we've performed on a huge festival event with the best crowd you can imagine. Every track we played people reacted so energised.

The Kith: KREAM had such a great live set in Trollstigen - Norway. This location was so incredibly nice, which makes this live set one of the best ever made.

The Kith: Also the editors of Tomorrowland are of the outer category. This aftermovie is so well produced, many compliments.

The Kith: Ozone, for mastering it's absolute one of the best plugins.

Dimitris: During 2022 we experienced many tracks that were hybrids of music styles & genres. Do believe that music genres or styles are still relevant today?
The Kith: For sure, especially when you're creative in combining genres this could end up in new genres.
Dimitris: Do you have any concrete plans for 2023 regarding future releases, tracks, albums, collaborations, DJ gigs? Please provide us the juicy details.
The Kith: We've some GREAT tracks for you scheduled in the beginning of 2023 with MAJOR artists and MAJOR labels. We're so excited to share these with you! 2023 will bring a lot!
Dimitris: Your message & wishes for 2023.
The Kith: We prefer to continue our growth steadily so that we become better known in the music industry but with a good basis. We think music quality is the most important thing, after that comes our fan base and eventually also the gigs.
