The worldwide agreement encompasses Beyer’s extensive publishing catalog and future works.
Armada Music Publishing, the dedicated publishing division of Armada Music Group, is proud to announce the signing of techno legend Adam Beyer to an exclusive worldwide publishing agreement. The agreement encompasses Beyer's publishing catalog, including the iconic anthem "Your Mind" (32+ million streams) and his latest album Explorer Volume 1, his first full-length studio project since 2002's Ignition Key, as well as future works.
Since emerging in the early to mid-1990s, Adam Beyer has remained one of techno's most influential and enduring figures. As founder of Drumcode Records (est. 1996), he has built one of the genre's most respected techno labels, serving as both a creative home for his own productions and a launchpad for the next generation of techno talent. Under the Drumcode banner, Beyer has expanded his influence far beyond music releases, overseeing global events, a weekly radio show reaching approximately 11 million listeners worldwide, and establishing a brand presence that has become synonymous with forward-thinking, high-caliber techno.
Beyer's discography is as prolific as it is acclaimed, featuring multiple studio albums, nearly 100 releases, and countless remixes. His track record of milestones speaks volumes: he was the first DJ to reach 100 appearances at Awakenings, has contributed twice to BBC Radio 1's Essential Mix, and appeared in the prestigious fabric mix series. In 2018, he ranked #4 on DJ Mag's Alternative Top 100 DJs list, and he has been a frequent nominee at the DJ Awards for Best Techno DJ.
A truly global artist, Beyer has performed at virtually every major club and festival worldwide, cementing his status as a fixture of the international techno circuit. In 2021, he marked Drumcode's 250th release with a special collaborative single, underscoring the label's remarkable longevity and cultural impact.
”I’m thrilled to partner with Armada Music Publishing at this exciting moment in my career,” said Adam Beyer. “Their deep roots in dance music, global reach, and genuine understanding of the modern scene make them the perfect home for my catalogue and future work. I'm looking forward to this next chapter and the creative opportunities ahead."
"Adam Beyer is a true pioneer whose influence on techno cannot be overstated,” said Maykel Piron, CEO and co-founder of Armada Music Group. “From Drumcode's legacy to his relentless innovation as an artist and curator, he represents the very best of electronic music. We are honored to welcome him to the Armada Music Publishing family and excited to support both his remarkable catalogue and the new music he continues to create."
While this marks Beyer's first partnership with Armada Music Publishing, he has previously collaborated with Armada Music on the label side, including notable releases such as "Party All The Time," "Techno Trance" with Armin van Buuren, and "Give It Up."

Armada Music proudly announces the release of “Evil”, a new collaboration between the rising Brazilian DJ-producer TAWWA, one of the few Brazilian women ever to release on the iconic label, and acclaimed producer Scorz. The single is out now.
“Evil” explores themes of inner demons, strength, and self-confidence. It delivers powerful, club-ready energy by blending TAWWA’s experimental edge with Scorz’s dark melodic sound and fiery rap elements. With deeply resonant lyrics and an adrenaline-fueled drop, “Evil” captures the moment when vulnerability transforms into power, creating a haunting, emotional, and dance-floor-ready anthem from two of Brazil’s most exciting electronic talents.
“Evil’ is about embracing your shadows, the part of yourself that people might misunderstand, but which actually gives you strength,” says TAWWA. “It’s confidence through chaos.”
“Working with TAWWA’s sound inspired me to explore new textures and levels of intensity in the studio,” adds Scorz. “We aimed to create something that feels alive in a club while also hitting deep emotionally.”
With this release, TAWWA not only asserts her unique sonic identity but also marks a historic moment for representation, becoming the third Brazilian woman in history to debut on Armada Music. Her achievement signals a new wave of Brazilian talent redefining the global electronic scene, powerful, fearless, and unapologetically original.
[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]TAWWA & Scorz’s latest release, “Evil,” under Armada Music, is a masterclass in modern melodic techno production. The track runs at a high-energy 130 BPM, perfectly suited for both club and festival settings. It opens with a resonant low-frequency bed of sub-bass and raw kick drums, establishing a dark, immersive atmosphere. The percussion layers are meticulously designed, combining tight hi-hats, punchy snares, and subtle percussive fills that propel the groove forward. The breakdown features a cinematic drop in energy, introducing atmospheric pads and a fragmented vocal motif that builds tension before slamming back into the powerful main section, demonstrating exceptional attention to transitions, drops, and build-ups. The production quality of “Evil” showcases advanced sound design and spatial mixing. Sharp basslines and layered, harmonically rich melodic hooks create a sense of movement across the stereo field. The dynamic range is carefully controlled, allowing the track to maintain loudness suitable for big-room playback without sacrificing clarity. Effects such as reverb tails, delay automation, and filter sweeps are used sparingly but effectively, creating tension and release cycles that keep listeners engaged. TAWWA’s experimental edge is evident in the unconventional vocal processing and the spectral layering of synths, while Scorz provides the signature dark melodic contour that makes the track both driving and hypnotic. Lyrically and thematically, “Evil” explores the confrontation with inner demons and the transformation of vulnerability into empowerment. This emotional arc is reinforced by the harmonic progression and the intensity of the bass-driven drops. The track’s emotional resonance can be linked to research in music psychology, which suggests that energetic electronic music with minor-key melodies can facilitate cathartic emotional release (Juslin & Västfjäll, 2008). The balance of aggression and euphoria in “Evil” allows listeners to channel negative emotions into movement, creating a sense of personal strength. Scientific studies have demonstrated that high-tempo electronic music can elevate mood and enhance exercise performance. For example, research by Karageorghis et al. (2013) shows that high-BPM music can increase endurance and perceived enjoyment in fitness activities. “Evil,” with its 130 BPM flow and compelling rhythmic drive, is an ideal track for high-intensity workouts, spinning sessions, and dance-based wellness classes. Its immersive soundscape may also engage the dopaminergic reward system, boosting motivation and promoting a sense of euphoria (Salimpoor et al., 2011). Listening to music of this style in a group exercise or wellness setting can foster social connection and emotional release, supporting both mental and physical well-being. “Evil” is a prime example of how cutting-edge electronic production can be both a technical showcase and a tool for emotional and physical wellness. With its expertly crafted structure, dynamic energy, and psychological impact, TAWWA & Scorz deliver a track that resonates on the dance floor and beyond. #PureGold Love IT[/content]

Several tracks born out of Armada and Spectrum’s creative partnership are included on Voorn’s upcoming album ‘Serotonin,’ out now!
Armada Music Publishing, the dedicated publishing division of Armada Music Group, today announced a strategic partnership with Joris Voorn’s music label, Spectrum Music, to launch Spectrum Music Publishing. Armada Music Publishing is set to steer creative development and handle global administration for Spectrum, while also collaborating on co-publishing deals and supporting emerging talent associated with Spectrum Music.
Voorn is the first composer officially signed under Spectrum Music Publishing. Armada’s collaboration with Spectrum has already yielded notable results, with several tracks from a joint writing camp with Voorn making it onto his upcoming album, ‘Serotonin,’ slated for release on July 18 on Spectrum via Armada Music. Two of Voorn’s upcoming releases with Nathan Nicholson are also a product of the partnership. Tracks include:
● “Utopia” (Joris Voorn and Goodboys)
● “Your Love” (Joris Voorn ft. Max Rad & Liz Cass)
● “You & I” and “Moon” (Joris Voorn and Nathan Nicholson)
"Armada has been an incredible creative partner to me over recent years, and I’m thrilled that we’re expanding our work together with the launch of Spectrum Music Publishing," said Joris Voorn, founder of Spectrum Music. "The release of ’Serotonin’ is only just the beginning, and I’m looking forward to working together to develop new sounds, foster emerging talent, and amplify the power of dance music around the world."
The launch of Spectrum Music Publishing builds on the long-term creative collaboration between Voorn and Armada Music Group, including a recent joint venture deal, several on-stage sets with the label’s co-founder Armin van Buuren and Voorn’s smash hit remix of ‘Transmission’ by Eelke Kleijn. ‘Transmission’ achieved #1 on the Shazam chart in the Netherlands and Belgium, earned a spot on the Dutch Top 40 and amassed over 60 million streams.
“This marks a special milestone in our long-standing relationship with Joris Voorn,” said Maykel Piron, CEO of Armada Music Group. “We’ve already seen tremendous success from our joint writing camp with Spectrum, and we’re excited to leverage Armada’s extensive network and global expertise to provide creative support for Joris and other writers under Spectrum Music Publishing.”

About Joris Voorn
Many consider Amsterdam to be the global capital of techno and few artists embody that notion more than Joris Voorn. He sits at the epicentre of the Dutch electronic music scene and is one of Netherlands’ most celebrated international touring acts. He is a perfectionist and an immaculate purveyor of high quality techno and forward thinking house.
A futuristic modern-art-meets-tech touring artist whose feet are firmly planted in the underground, Joris is also embedded in the worlds of contemporary art, photography and architecture. His attention to detail in the studio, on stage or in the presentation of his visual art and design are unsurpassed.
Born in the Dutch town of Tilburg, the son of a composer and a music teacher, Joris gained international recognition with his debut ‘Muted Trax’ EP on Keynote which was quickly followed by his universally acclaimed ‘Lost Memories’ release on Sino the following year. The follow-up ‘Lost Memories Part 2’ in 2004 included the standout track ‘Incident’ which became an immediate and firm fixture in the sets of many of his now-peers including Carl Cox, Derrick May and Laurent Garnier.
Since then Joris has gone on to release four highly acclaimed artist albums, ‘Future History’ (Sino, 2004), ‘From A Deep Place’ (Green, 2007), ‘Nobody Knows’ (voted electronic album of the year 2014 by Billboard Magazine in the US) and the most recently ‘\\\\’ (Spectrum / BMG 2019) which features an array of stunning collaborations including one with UK dance royalty Underworld. Joris has backed these up with dearly loved mix compilations for Belgian techno bastion Fuse, Australia’s Balance, London underground super club Fabric and most recently 2020’s standout GU: Rotterdam where Joris effectively remixed over 100 tracks to form a truly mesmerising chapter in the iconic Global Underground story.
Joris’s celebrated abilities and skills in the studio have also led to many high profile remixes. The list is diverse, from global superstars Dua Lipa, Vintage Culture, Swedish House Mafia, London Grammar and Editors to electronic music icons Underworld, Orbital, Elderbrook, Röyksopp, Yotto, and Groove Armada or cult indie writers White Cliffs - all have called on Joris Voorn to interpret their works with his fresh, discerning-dancefloor perspective.
Joris’s recent remix of Eelke Klein’s ‘Transmission’ generated 36 million streams on Spotify alone and saw high rotation day time radio play across much of Europe. An impressive feat for an instrumental record.
In 2005 Joris founded ‘Green’ the first of three labels he runs with long-time collaborator Edwin Oosterwal. ‘Green’ provided a platform for Joris to release two albums, plus some of his biggest hits including 2013’s ‘Ringo’ and his 2016’s ‘Looks Fake Obviously’. His second label ‘Rejected’ offered an additional outlet – but this time for more straight-up house music aimed purely at the dancefloor. The Rejected catalogue includes many of Joris’s house hits including the ‘Dusty House’ series of Eps. The label also released music from techno pioneers Deetron, Anton Pieete, Ian Pooley and Steve Rachmad.
These two labels represent the opposing ends of the ‘Spectrum’ of underground music Joris is proud to champion. In fact, this word is so synonymous with his wide ranging love of underground styles and sounds that it inspired him to launch his 3rd label project, brand, weekly globally syndicated radio show, event series and merch range - ‘Spectrum’.
Since its inception ‘Spectrum’ has gathered a myriad of fans from not only the dancefloor and radio airwaves but industry alike. Having hosted Spectrum events all over the world including at Amsterdam’s iconic Gashouder, at Ultra Miami and Off-Sonar the brand has become synonymous with the cutting edge sounds coming from melodic house and techno. Today Spectrum aims to present diverse, inclusive and unique events that showcase the cutting edge sounds Joris creates, performs or champions on his labels.
During the pandemic Joris found the extended periods of time in the studio a luxury previously impossible when touring so relentlessly. In that period he found himself entrenched in composing soundtracks for movies, scoring TV pieces and working on countless new material. Also in this period he developed a new live alias, VIRSION, whose driving, hypnotic and powerful sound is firmly in entrenched in techno.
Today Joris is putting the finishing touches to his long awaited fifth artist album which will see a release on Spectrum / Armada in April. Having already released four singles including “You & I”, which features vocalist songwriter Nathan Nicholson, the blissful instrumental “Horizon”, the brilliant collaboration with Pig & Dan ft LIVI called “Been There Before” and most recently another collaboration, with Jan Blomqvist, called Flora - the album looks set to reaffirm Joris’s position as a true pioneer of melodic techno and house. His recent sold out run of live shows in Amsterdam, London, Plock and Barcelona are a beautiful fusion of music and incredible visuals created and manipulated live by LiveFrame (Take of Us, Afterlife, Timewarp). These stunning test shows are a taste of what’s to come when the album tour begins in Spring.
Never sitting still, Joris Voorn is a sophisticated composer and performer of precise, powerful and emotional electronic music. An immaculate artist who stands alone in his unique approach to weaving underground music with carefully placed moments of emotive melody. He lives behind the decks and in his studio, but never forgets the education he gladly received on the dancefloor.

News comes as the publisher continues to prioritize creative A&R investment, expand its burgeoning roster and fuel the success of dance artists globally
Armada Music Publishing, the dedicated publishing division of Armada Music Group, has announced extended deals with renowned dance DJs NERVO and Reinier Zonneveld, as well as the renewal of 90% of its sub-publishing agreements. These extensions signal the strength of Armada Music Publishing’s relationships with producers, publishers, and catalog owners, and speak to the value the company brings to songwriters and emerging talent.
Armada Music Publishing’s future efforts with Australian DJ duo NERVO will focus on artist development through releases and writing sessions with third parties. Known for their prolific songwriting, NERVO has written and produced hit songs for artists like Kylie Minogue, Ke$ha, Afrojack, Steve Aoki, and Miley Cyrus. Armada Music Publishing controls the publishing rights to several of their biggest hits, including “Worlds Collide” and “Best Friend” by Sofi Tukker ft. The Knocks & Alisa Ueno.
The publisher’s renewed agreement with Dutch DJ and producer Reinier Zonneveld will spotlight international expansion and collaborations with other artists and producers. The initial partnership, which began in 2021, successfully developed Zonneveld’s identity as a powerhouse live performer. Widely lauded for his innovative live sets, solely consisting of his own repertoire, Zonneveld played over 100 shows in 2024 and is preparing for his debut US headline tour this spring. In 2024, he performed back-to-back with his AI alter ego at the R² Festival for 30,000+ attendees in the Netherlands and will return with the second edition of the festival this year as he continues to push the boundaries of live shows through his use of cutting-edge technology intertwined with his own tracks. Armada Music Publishing owns the publishing rights to some of Zonneveld’s most popular dance-floor hits, including “Flying Octopus” ft. HI-LO and Oliver Heldens,“CSE” and “Fist on Acid” ft. Angerfirst.
Armada Music Publishing also renewed 90% of its sub-publishing agreements, initiated last April following the acquisition of Amsterdam-based music publisher, Cloud 9 Music, through BEAT Music Fund. This underscores the publisher’s strong and trusted relationships with its partners, who continue to demonstrate their confidence in the company’s expertise and creative vision.
“These deal extensions are a direct reflection of the demand we’re seeing in the market, Armada’s company evolution, and our team’s dedication to the one-of-a-kind dance artists we serve,” said Maykel Piron, CEO and co-founder of Armada Music Group. “After acquiring Cloud 9 Music in early 2024, Armada Music Publishing grew from a small-scale operation to a dynamic team of twenty. We’re thrilled to continue our success with NERVO and Reiner Zonneveld, and are looking forward to helping more artists fulfill their unique creative potential.”
Operating under its parent company, Armada Music Group, which provides label, publishing and catalog acquisition services under one roof, Armada Music Publishing leverages the label’s artist-centric approach to creativity to seize burgeoning opportunities for today’s creators in the publishing world.

In 2023, Armada Music launched BEAT Music Fund, the world’s first dance music investment company, that acquires catalogs with the mission of honoring, representing and reinvigorating them. BEAT’s portfolio will continue to grow; in the first six months following its launch, BEAT acquired the catalogs of, among others, electronic music star ARTY, house and techno pioneer Kevin Saunderson’s KMS Records, legendary NYC-based house label King Street Sounds and chart-topping producers Chocolate Puma.
The acquisition further strengthens Armada Music Group’s publishing division, underscoring the company’s mission to creatively fuel the dance industry under one roof
BEAT Music Fund, the first-ever dance investment fund from Armada Music, has announced the acquisition of Amsterdam-based music publisher, Cloud 9 Music, bolstering Armada’s existing publishing division. As part of the acquisition, the teams of Armada Music’s existing publishing company, Armada Publishing B.V., and Cloud 9 Music will merge to form Armada Music Publishing. This strategic move underscores Armada’s mission to position itself as the best partner in the in-demand global electronic dance industry, projected to reach $20.9 billion by 2033.
As part of the acquisition, Cloud 9 Music’s copyright assets and songwriters will be serviced and administered by Armada Music Publishing. Employees from Cloud 9 Music will join the team, effectively tripling its headcount. Armada Music Publishing will include a full-service and experienced publishing back-office team operating under its newly formed parent company, Armada Music Group. The Group was established to seamlessly offer label, publishing, and catalog acquisition services under one roof with a mission to bolster creativity for current and prospective representation. By merging the label’s artist-centric approach to creativity with the burgeoning opportunities for artists in the publishing world, this acquisition synergistically enables Armada Music Group to broaden its endeavors and provide comprehensive guidance to artists within a unified framework. Maykel Piron will oversee Armada Music Publishing and its entities; Chief Financial Officer, Margôt Hölscher, General Manager, Michel Peek, and Head of Publishing Administration, Ronald Visser encompass Armada Music Publishing leadership team.
“This acquisition is significant to us and will boost our ability to empower today’s dance artists and expand their opportunities to monetize their work in the current landscape,” said Piron, CEO and co-founder of Armada Music Group. “Now more than ever, today’s artists need a trusted partner. Providing label, publishing services and opportunities within catalog investment all under one roof directly fuels our ongoing mission to advocate for dance artists, contribute to their success, and uphold the value of creativity.”
The Group’s publishing power move allows Armada Music Publishing to now represent a roster of world-renowned songwriters, producers and emerging talent, including Armin van Buuren, Brennan Heart, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, D.O.D, Dubvision, Kevin Saunderson, Nervo, Reinier Zonneveld, Sander van Doorn, Vini Vici, W&W, Yulia Niko, Priska, KDYN and more. The publishing catalog also includes global dance hits such as Armin van Buuren’s Grammy Award-nominated ‘This Is What It Feels Like’, ‘Reality’ by Lost Frequencies and Da Beatfreakz’ co-written share in ‘Prada’ which was originally performed by Cassö, D-Block Europe, and Raye.
BEAT Music Fund launched in April 2023 as an artist-friendly vehicle to unlock value from recordings and copyrights within the thriving dance arena. Its success has fueled the acquisitions of Cloud 9, iconic NY-based dance label King Street Sounds, Dutch dance duo Chocolate Puma, and UK-based labels Sola Records and VIVa MUSiC, among others. With BEAT planning to increase its investment to at least $500 million in the coming years, Armada Music and Armada Music Publishing will work in tandem to uphold the legacy of dance artists and protect their work's creative and commercial value.
