Armand Van Helden, a name synonymous with House music. A true pioneer and a DJ/Producer who has consistently given us amazing music over the past two decades.

New York based Van Helden was born in Boston to a Dutch/Indonesian father and a French/Lebanese mother. He travelled around the world as a child spending time in Holland, Turkey & Italy. He bought a drum machine when he was still a teenager and started DJing two years later.

Armand spends many hours ‘digging in the crates’ looking for samples and hooks from old funk, soul, dancehall & hip-hop records to re-create and turn into modern gems. It’s fair to say he has been mighty successful at this.

With huge releases including, Witch Doktor, Flowerz, My My My, I Want Your Soul, Hear My Name, When The Lights Go Down, NYC Beat & The Funk Phenomena plus the chart topping classic ‘You Don’t Know Me’ and ‘Bonkers’ with Dizzee Rascal. Plus, huge remixes for the likes of Daft Punk, The Rolling Stones, Sam Smith & the genre-creating monster Tori Amos ‘Professional Widow’.

He has also found time to collaborate with A-Trak on a side project ‘Duck Sauce’. Again reaching huge club, radio and chart success with; Barbra Streisand, Anyway & Big Bad Wolf.

Armand is back with a brand new single ‘I Need A Painkiller’. Yet another unique production from Armand that just grabs you instantly and set to be the soundtrack to many dancefloors.

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]The exceptional house legend Armand Van Helden collaborates with Butter Rush for the magnificent I Need A Painkiller. If you like your house pure and uncompromising then you will definitely not need painkillers. You can expect fat bouncy thumping drums, dark moody basslines, old school synthy organ riffs and superb vocals that will stay in your head for days and will be impossible not to get highly infected from those great lyrics. The groove and rhythm is old school but so futuristic at the same time. You simply play the track and the crowd goes insane. No Painkillers included should be purchased separately. #PureGold Love iT[/content]

Sigma are DJ and production duo who have now sold over 3 million singles, with 4 hit records (2x OCC No.1s, 3 iTunes No.1s) and 2 platinum awards to date. They’ve received 2 Brits nominations, sold out their debut live tour, and played festival main stages across the world with performances including Glastonbury, Bestival, Reading & Leeds, V, T In The Park, Creamfields, SW4, EDC, Pukklepop, Sziget and beyond. They’re also the only drum & bass outfit to have performed at the BAFTAs ceremony one night, and a warehouse rave the next.

Sigma met at university while balancing raving and studying when Joe, who started learning the violin aged 3, swapped his strings, drums and keyboards for a pair of decks in his early teens, becoming a former DMC UK Champion scratch DJ when he was just 16, started DJing at the nights that Cam was promoting in Leeds.

After graduating, the pair committed to music full-time, playing as many gigs they could to hone their craft, and signed a series of singles to influential independent labels, including Hospital, Viper, and Breakbeat Kaos, as well as creating their own imprint, Life Recordings.

Their debut album ‘Life’ encapsulates Sigma’s meteoric rise to the top of the charts. Alongside the hits ‘Nobody To Love’, ‘Changing’, ‘Higher’, ‘Glitterball’ and ‘Coming Home’ collaborations with Ella Eyre and Maverick Sabre are just some of ‘Life’s’ many standout tracks. Few debut albums contain so many hits before they’re released, but Sigma’s knack for turning soaring strings and heavy breakbeats into blow-your-speakers anthems shows why they’re set to dominate radio playlists and festival arenas for years to come.

DJ/producer duo Sigma release their music video for their latest track “Find Me,” featuring powerful, heartfelt vocals by Grammy nominated Birdy who sold 10 million records with her platinum single “Skinny Love.” The video follows Stranger Things’ Millie Bobby Brown on an emotional journey through a busting city. “Find Me” was directed by Christopher Sims, who is best known for his work with stars like Usher, Ludacris, David Guetta, and more.

Kat Krazy’s festival-ready ‘Run Run’ (feat. Johnny Stimson) is the UK duo’s first single for 3 Beat. On air and on sale from today (and clocking up national radio plays by the hour), ‘Run Run’ is a surefire contender for summer anthem status; expect this to be hammered across the global festival season – from Ultra to EDC, V, Creamfields, South West Four and beyond.

While ‘Run Run’ is the first full single from Kat Krazy (aka Ben Preston and Nathan Cross), their super-charged take on mainstage dance music has seen them called in to remix some of the world’s biggest artists, including Coldplay, Rihanna, Bastille (their mix of ‘Pompeii’ was a U.S Dance Billboard No.1), One Direction, Jessie J, Sigma, Iggy Azalea, Nicki Minaj, John Newman, Ella Eyre and more.

To date, Kat Krazy have notched up over 50 million combined online streams across Spotify, YouTube, and Soundcloud, and built a cult following without chasing the spotlight. Outside of clubland, their music has been heavily supported by Radio 1, Kiss, Capital, and more, proving their potential as genuine crossover stars in the making.

Kat Krazy first met whilst studying at Guildford's ACM music school. Ben is a classically trained pianist and multi instrumentalist (drums, saxophone and beyond), while Nathan has remixed artists including Chase & Status, and Wretch 32, as well as DJing internationally for Ministry of Sound. Aside from Kat Krazy’s burgeoning remix discography, an early club track, ‘Siren’, was signed to Armada and remixed by label boss, Armin van Burren.

Now signed to 3 Beat, the label home for Sigma, Philip George, Callum Beattie, Corbu, Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike, IV Rox, and Preditah, Kat Krazy are set to become one of the hottest British dance acts of 2016.

Sigma, aka Cameron Edwards and Joe Lenzie, have revealed their first release for 2015, ‘Higher’, featuring Labrinth. ‘Higher’ was premiered across radio and will be released on 22 March; the track will precede a further single and their debut artist album entitled, ‘Life’ (expected early summer).

2014 was Sigma’s most successful year to date, capped with their first TV live performances at the BBC Music Awards and the Christmas Day edition of Top Of The Pops, plus their appearance at Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball and a co-headline slot at UKF’s New Year’s Eve event at Brixton Academy.

They were the only group in 2014 to have back-to-back No.1 singles in the form of ‘Nobody To Love’ and ‘Changing’ (featuring Paloma Faith), with both shifting over 100,000 copies in their first week. Sigma have now sold 1.75 million singles worldwide in just 10 months, gone Platinum in the UK (‘NTL’) and Gold for ‘Changing’ in Germany, and Benelux, and Platinum in Australia and New Zealand (‘NTL’). They’ve hit 432,844 worldwide radio plays and reached a radio audience of 1 billion, and held the UK TV Airplay Chart No.1 spot for 11 weeks combined. ‘Nobody To Love’ recently became the first drum & bass track to hit 100 million YouTube views, with the tally for both singles fast approaching 120 million.

2015 festival bookings include Snowbombing, Future Music Festival and Electric Daisy Carnival. These follow 2014 shows across the UK, Europe, North America and Australia, including two sold out dates at Ministry of Sound, Glastonbury, Global Gathering, Ibiza Rocks and Bestival.

With stunning vocals from Labrinth, ‘Higher’ also sees Sigma once again collaborating with UK songwriting giants TMS and Wayne Hector (with whom they made ‘Changing’).

Outside of their own releases, Sigma have shored up their reputation as an in demand remix duo, with 2014 mixes for the likes of Kiesza (‘Hideaway’), Route 94 (‘My Love’), Clean Bandit (‘Extraordinary’), DJ Fresh (‘Dibby Dibby Sound’) and DJ Zinc (‘Show Me’).

Leeds University alumni – alongside Rusko – Sigma met while balancing raving and studying, working in record shops and promoting events to top up their student loans. Early releases with Hospital Records, Viper, Bingo and DJ Fresh’s Breakbeat Kaos, as well as their own Life Recordings, quickly marked them out as producers to watch, while remixes for Eric Prydz, Ellie Goulding, Stylo G and Sway began to take them to a wider audience.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Sigma bring back to the mainstream the always beloved drum n bass sound. After the incredible Changing the brand new single is destined to become the ultimate anthem and is called Higher. The stunning Labrinth is on vocals and you can expect a soulful, inspirational, inspiring performance that will move you higher and can even make you touch the sky. Energetic, euphoric, optimistic is the perfect record with lyrics that doesn't state the obvious and rather move to a deeper level to say a great story. The remix package will help house djs to playlist it. Grant Nelson remix is a moody modern house version with dark bassline, acid layers and tribal pounding grooves sprinkled with vocal chops, beautiful colourful feel good synths and old school 90's piano chords. Grades remix is superb melodic deep house version with driving basslines, punchy drums, great percussion, superb application of the original vocal parts and classic piano chords. If you search for the upfront mainstage version this remix will do the business for you. Jay Montero remix is classic balearic Ibiza style version with classic organ riffs and euphoric synths to please the masses. Kideko remix is the minimal eclectic classy deep house version that pitches down the vocal while the bassline is doing the real damage while the chorus is supported by melodramatic guitars and old school piano chords. Top remix package that house djs will adore! Love It

Sigma's recent No.1 hit, 'Nobody To Love', has quickly become one of 2014's highest-selling singles so far, clocking up 510,000 sales (including streams), 30 million YouTube views and 40 million worldwide streams. And how do you follow-up a single that's hit No.1 in 8 countries? If you're Sigma, you go straight into the studio, call up Paloma Faith and a full orchestra, and produce a monster hit-in-waiting in 'Changing'.

Premiered on Radio 1 courtesy of Annie Mac (Special Delivery, 11/7/14), 'Changing' shows Sigma aka Cameron Edwards and Joe Lenzie in sparkling form, making good use of studio time in between a packed summer schedule with shows across the UK, Europe, North America and Australia, including Glastonbury, Global Gathering, Ibiza Rocks and Bestival.

Sigma's remixes for Kiesza ('Hideaway'), Route 94 ('My Love'), Clean Bandit ('Extraordinary'), DJ Fresh ('Dibby Dibby Sound') and DJ Zinc ('Show Me') have helped make 2014 their best year to date, further proof that the UK duo have big intentions ahead of the artist album they're currently putting the finishing touches to.

Leeds University alumni -- alongside Rusko -- Sigma met while balancing raving and studying, working in record shops and promoting events to top up their student loans. While some don their artist mantle when the occasion demands it, Cameron and Joe have made Sigma their 'life' since graduation. Early releases with Hospital Records, Viper, Bingo and DJ Fresh's Breakbeat Kaos, as well as their own Life Recordings, quickly marked them out as producers to watch, while remixes for Eric Prydz, Ellie Goulding, Stylo G and Sway began to take them to a wider audience. The world, it seems, is now their oyster.

Three-time BRIT nominee Paloma Faith released her third album 'A Perfect Contradiction' on March 10, the follow-up to 2012's double platinum selling 'Fall To Grace', and her debut 'Do You Want The Truth Or Something Beautiful?' (also double platinum). Her new album features a roster of legendary music icons, singer-songwriters and producers including Pharrell Williams (who collaborated on first single 'Can't Rely On You'), Diane Warren, Plan B, John Legend, Stewart Matthewman and Raphael Saadiq. 'A Perfect Contradiction' has not left the Top 10 since it was released, and has already achieved gold status.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Sigma are back with their 2nd number 1 in UK Top 40 and they reaffirm that their success was not matter of coincidence or luck. Their presence in the charts signals the vitality of the drum n bass scene  that is not passing trend but is rather a well established subculture well rooted in the UK club scene. Their track Changing features the stunning performance by Paloma Faith who has deep, soulful and absolutely mindblowing voice with that magical retro tone. It starts with truly inspiring church style choir vocals and slowly builds into an energetic ride with breath taking drum n bass arrangement that Paloma's voice seems to be the most appropriate for the occasion. The track is optimistic, uplifting, feel good and is the right soundtrack to your preparation for the night out. The remix package is extensive and all of them move in the deep house/tech house style that seems to be so successful at the moment. Majestic remix is upfront old school 90's infused house track with stunning piano chords and Ibiza vibes. The breakdown includes the melodramatic strings that enhance the final result even more. If you love the analogue feel on the sound you will adore this top version. Zoo Station remix is upfront enough but with old school basslines and early 90's organ riffs. It's interesting that the vocal is used in its original form without any change on the tempo with the peculiar result of speedier soundtrack and slower vocals. Klingande deliver an excellent remix on their well known established sound that is eclectic house with electronic elements. Deep haunting basslines, chunky driving kicks, piano melodies, xylophone themes and hypnotic synthy layers on top are the main ingredients of this stand out house gem. Naxxos remix is a deeply spiritual relaxing version with chill out/lounge style intro, deep smooth basslines, minimal beats and percussive melody on top makes this version perfect for the early morning dj sets. Purple Disco Machine continue on the same deep house pathway with organic live feel. Fantastic drum programming, deep basslines, jazzy guitar riffs and some parts of the vocals makes this version another must play item for your deep house sets. Funky dreamy loungy version to keep you dancing and shaking like there is no tomorrow. #PureGold Love It

South London rapper Sneakbo has teamed up with Tujamo and Plastik Funk for explosive new single 'Dr Who', set for release on 23rd March via 3 Beat Records.

Created by German producer Tujamo and German House duo Plastik Funk, the instrumental version 'Who' became a huge summer anthem (notching up over 5 million YouTube views) and a staple of DJ sets over Summer (with the likes of Tiesto and Avicii supporting). But now, with the addition of Sneakbo's vocal over the funky, crowd-rousing beat, 'Who' has been upgraded to 'Dr Who' and is set to become a club favourite across the country.

Already being championed by tastemakers across the board, 'Dr Who' is off to a flying start. Following its world premiere on Mistajams 1Xtra show, it was quickly named Radio 1 Zane Lowe's 'Hottest Record In The World' and has picked up regular spins from an unprecedented wide variety of Radio DJ's and stations - from Radio 1 (Sara Cox) and 1Xtra (Charlie Sloth, DJ Target) through to Kiss (Dixon Brothers) and Capital Xtra (Max).

Far from a newcomer, Sneakbo has three top-40 singles of his own to date and performances at key festivals in the UK including Wireless under his belt. And with the support from the likes of rap superstar Drake citing him as his favourite UK rapper, Sneakbo is proving to be a very promising talent to watch this space for!

Dimitri Kechagias review: One of the biggest tribal electro meets big room house tracks finally is vocalised in the best possible way. Tujamo & Plastik Funk delivered in 2012 on their homebase record label Tiger records the amazing Who that really rocked thanks to its great energy, tribal latin drums, the distorted funky basslines, cool trumpet riffs and even trap music sequence as well . With great hooky rhythm and tough bouncy beats was one of the prominent hits. Now the exceptional UK rapper  Sneakbo does his best to impress with his exceptional vocals upon the track. His performance is finest that you can think of  with playful attitude and definitely is the one that make you want to instantly abandon what you do and start to party, dance and sing a long with him. It sounds like a future UK Top 40 number 1. Party rocker guaranteed and so infectious. The remix package becomes even larger with Futuristic Polar Bears adding their magic wand and delivering the full on hands in the air mainstage style version with electro aggressive basslines, bouncy pumping beats and the so cool fantastic vocal as well.It sounds superlarge and ready to smash the houses! Its one of those records that has the word global smash written all over it! Love iT
