[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"] KIMMIC are currently on the rise, championing the resurgence of trance through their distinctive nostalgic style. Their latest creative endeavor involves reimagining Paul Oakenfold and Planet Perfecto Knights' iconic classic "ResuRection," a track renowned for its mesmerizing spacey melody that has graced countless DJ sets over the years. Diving deeper into the technical details, KIMMIC’s rendition operates at a brisk 150 BPM, perfectly capturing the high-energy essence of classic trance. The foundation of this version lies in its dynamic offbeat basslines, characterized by an energetic, bouncy rhythm that adds a compelling groove and drive to the track. These basslines are meticulously crafted using sophisticated sidechain compression techniques, ensuring they remain punchy while seamlessly blending with the other layers. The percussive elements showcase a robust mix of punchy drums and rugged percussion. The drum design employs layered kick drums with precise EQ adjustments to achieve a powerful low-end impact. Additionally, the snares and hi-hats are processed with transient shaping tools to enhance their attack, contributing to the track’s relentless momentum. A highlight of this production is the treatment of the iconic spacey melody. KIMMIC retains its ethereal charm but infuses it with modern synthesis techniques, including advanced modulation and reverb layering to create a more expansive, atmospheric sound. The melodic lines are delicately automated with filter sweeps and delay effects, adding depth and evolution throughout the track’s progression. Furthermore, the track’s superb drive is achieved through meticulous arrangement and dynamic processing. The build-ups are crafted with tension-inducing risers, white noise sweeps, and strategic use of reverb tails, leading into drops that explode with rhythmic intensity. The mastering process enhances the overall loudness while preserving clarity, ensuring the track sounds phenomenal across diverse sound systems. KIMMIC's reinterpretation of "ResuRection" is not just a tribute to a trance classic but a testament to their technical prowess and innovative production techniques. This version breathes new life into the track, evoking goosebumps with every play and cementing its legacy for years to come. #PureGold Love iT[/content]

Scottish up-and-comers KIMMIC have joined forces with legendary singer-songwriter/DJ Ultra Naté on the much-anticipated release of certified anthem ‘Party Girl (Gonna Do)’. First teased on TikTok and SoundCloud, this fiery rework of Ultra Naté’s Top 10 1995 classic ‘Party Girl (Turn Me Loose)’ has sparked massive buzz with 1M views and counting across both platforms, and is on track to becoming a high-energy set staple.

“I wrote the song 'Party Girl' during the heyday of 90's New York underground clubbing culture for an indie film that went on to become a bonafide cult classic and iconic Parker Posey’s film debut,” says Ultra Naté. "It’s great to see the spirit of the 90’s is alive and well with quality songs from the era still inspiring the kids, and it’s even more exciting when it’s one of my own because we put so much love into the work.”

Originally released on New York City’s prestigious King Street Sounds label, ‘Party Girl (Turn Me Loose)’ went on to peak at #6 on the US Dance Charts. Now, KIMMIC has harnessed Ultra Naté’s scintillating vocals to assemble a dance floor weapon ready to cause damage across clubs globally.
“This has been such a wicked tune to play out, and we’ve loved seeing the crowd reaction,” KIMMIC says. “We’re grateful to have the opportunity to jump on such a classic and can’t wait for this track to be yours.”
Ultra Naté adds: “Now, the track gets to have another fabulous moment in the sun – this time as ‘Party Girl (Gonna Do)’ with KIMMIC and on Armada Music! I really do get to “do it all again” as the song says... Here’s to all the party girls out there!”
‘Party Girl (Gonna Do)’ is now available to stream via Armada Music HERE.
