REVIEW: RAM & Roxanne Emery - Echoes out on Black Hole recordings
01. RAM & Roxanne Emery - Echo (Original Mix)
02. RAM & Roxanne Emery - Echo (Extended Mix)
The Power Of Love’, RAM’s most recent reunion with singer Susanna, duly proved to be one of the most powerful moments from his 25 Years Of Black Hole Recordings set in the Netherlands last month. Since, the pair’s phenomenal reinterpretation of the Frankie Goes To Hollywood classic has gone on to spiritually uplift clubfloors in all four corners.
How though can you follow something so emotionally carrying and far reaching!? Well, as Roxanne Emery says most prophetically in the lyrics of their latest, “lightning can strike twice” … and on ‘Echoes’, that’s exactly what’s about to happen!
Never a man to undercook it studio-side, on the second single be taken from his upcoming artist album, RAM gives it his all. Unbridled drum gallop, thermobaric bass, sky-touching synths, vocal whoops and strings that’ll make your heart sing all resonate throughout ‘Echoes’.
On their first collaboration together, through her words and voice, Roxanne amps the feels on every level of the track. From pathos all the way to empowered, she spans the full emotional range with a tour-de-force delivery.
The kind of ‘Echoes’ you’ll never want to end, the third single to be taken from RAM’s forthcoming ‘Wanderlust’ is available through all good sales and streaming channels here

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]RAM & Roxanne Emery collaborate for the fantastic power trancer Echoes. The track adopts powerful energetic driving pumping basslines and tough kicks while in the breakdown rock guitar riffs create that melancholic atmosphere that the beloved Roxanne Emery voice seems to go well with and deliver one of her strongest and most noteworthy performances. The lyrics are meaningful with a nice message to keep in your heart and guide you through the difficult times and all the ups and downs. The euphoric climax seems that is the finest catharsis and release of all the pressure you feel from the incredible story that Roxanne invite us to identify with. Uplifting to the max with great vocal will keep you great company during the dark winter times. #PureGold Love IT [/content]
