After Ray Okpara’s (AMA, Mobilee) previous remix on Danse Club, he now joins forces with Christian Nielsen (Play It Down, 8Bit) in a collaborative EP consisting of two knock-out club tracks each with a dub version for those who like it strictly rhythm. The A-Side ‘Alibi’ had been tried and tested on the road and to great effect with it’s infectious drawn-out vocal breakdown and it’s funk filled, heavy groove. As always with Danse Club EP’s this has been selected by Brodanse for it’s effectiveness on the ‘Danse Floor’ and it’s ability to get bums moving.

Dimitri Kechagias review: One of the coolest tech house record labels is of course Danse Club Records. Every release very unique underground urban moody dark tech house of the highest quality that can certainly make your booty bounce. The latest Alibi EP is coming from  Ray Okpara & Christian Nielsen and will give you many excuses to swing your hips and let yourself shake it without any inhibitions. The Original mix is an excellent super hypnotic tech house smasher with dark moody bassline, moody techy dominating groove that is shaped along with vocal snippets and cool percussion elements. The distorted vocal adds character and identity to the track and easily you loose yourself to its rhythm. The dub mix as you can imagine is minus the vocals for those who would like to focus on the magnificent tapestry of warm and dangerous sounds. Never Stop is a much more funky tech house beauty with playful rhythm, deep dark metallic basslines, raw edgy drums and variety of ambient sounds and even some melodies thrown in for a good measure. The Dub mix adopts a lighter groove with minimal techy bassline and groove with added vocal snippets and adventurous sound design. If you prefer something freaky and totally underground don't miss it. Love it

Dimitri Kechagias review: Danse Club records presents the top new talent Ki.Mi with his outstanding deep tech house Don't EP.  First the awesome Don't is dark deep tech house smooth production with wobbly beats, deep haunting rolling basslines, jazzy riffs, dark synthy lines, electronic riffs and stretched down distorted vocal samples. It's a long 8 minutes of clean and crispy underground club tech house anthem. Like Me is an equally mesmerising tech house gem that is more minimal and slower with chunky grooves, great percussion melodies, vocal snippets and very surprising electronic synthy hooks that give you instantly goosebumps. Per Hammar's Overground Dubb on Don't is superb hypnotic tech house smasher with metallic raw basslines, tribal grooves and nice dark industrial synths. It works perfectly on any deep dark tech house sets. Lastly Like Me is remixed by Reset Robot who deliver a very moody version with excellent twisted groove, pumping basslines and cool melodic snippets. It's a much more surprising version that will satisfy the melodic progressive techno fans. Danse Club records will give you pleasure X4! Love it

Dimitri Kechagias review: Danse Club Records returns with another deep house EP by Sek that includes 3 top notch productions that any underground lover will appreciate. Bipolar EP includes 3 quite different tracks that you can play in various moments of your dj set. Firstly is Homeboy that is a deep moody groovy record with woobly deep basslines, rolling drums, old school influences, jazzy influences and late night atmosphere. Dark and extremely hypnotic production that will warm up your dancefloor perfectly. Teenage Jackoff is a tougher punchy production with metallic bassline, dark and raw grooves that smash the dancefloor perfect for techno and tribal house sets. It has the full on sound that will work for mainstage techno sets. Lastly Homeboy is remixed by Ray Okpara who delivers an interesting alternative version that is tougher and harder perfect for the late night techno sets with additional percussion, dark and twisted synths, vocal samples and intensity that keep the energy flowing all over the place! Awesomeness in one package! #TrueTechno Love It

As much about new talent as established artists Danse Club enlist Ki Creighton & Jamie Roy to the label and turn to Danse Club mainstay Markus Homm for a knockout remix.

Dimitri Kechagias review: The top record label Danse Club records headed by Brodanse from London uncover another must play tech house bomb. Ki Creighton & Jamie Roy deliver the double tracker Pleasure Groove E.P. that contains the fantastic Pleasure Groove and superb Be Who You Want. Pleasure Groove is tech house as it should be done nice and easy with very basic elements of superb drum programming, heavy metallic old school raw basslines and some synthy themes as well along with some urban vocals that sounds naughty to me. This is underground dark tech house with tribal influences to keep the house of love spreading the good vibes.  Be Who You Want sounds more melodic, flower power and positive. The upfront tribal rhythm and great bubbly percussive groove easily infect your body and can dominate your spirit. The breakdown is characterised from that speech vocal that ask the listener to decide what he or she wants to be without thinking about others. On remix duties is Markus Homm who transforms the original into a deeper minimal spacey tech house gem that is darker, spacey and spacious with great atmosphere and hypnotic themes. This is underground baby and for those that God made them funky will adore it! #PureGold Love It

Dimitri Kechagias review: Too much of today's electronic music is radio friendly and ready for pop consumption. Danse Club records is all about underground house sounds that include strong techno and tech house input. The latest EP by Tucillo is true art that will take you on board for a deep dark mysterious ride. Outbrain is a hypnotic affair with infectious repetitive grooves and cool cinematic sample that sounds to scientific to me. When you hear this type of tunes you just need to turn the strobe light on and take your favourite spirit in your hand and start shaking around without thinking about tomorrow because brain is the weapon! Metamorphox is an even deeper minimal moody affair with basic elements and subliminal style of themes along with cool vocal samples. You can sense that things are darker and groovier so expect the unexpected! Lastly Globo is an excellent tribal tech house affair with little cool synthy hook that drives the track forward along with some vocal samples that stay in the background. Very pleasurable deep beauties! #TrueHouse, #TrueTechno Love It

Dimitri Kechagias review: Polder with  Ambulate E.P. are arriving on Danse Club Records. The EP includes four tracks that is great value for your money. Firstly is the superb Ambulate which can be easily described as deep groovy emotional melodic tech house essential anthem with live crowd noises and great melodic elements that make it even appropriate for deep trance sets. Very spiritual mind opening sonic experience for sure. Hope Party on the other side is more darker moody aggressive track with fantastic subbass and superb haunting deep basslines. Repetitive and cold that you will enjoy if you go for the purest form of techno. Why Not? is a totally different affair with its tribal grooves, wobbly basslines, chopped vocal samples and even some disco house influences in the distant background. Great imaginative production that manage to lock you instantly in its hypnotic groove. Lastly Kabale Und Liebe Remix on Ambulate is an excellent tribal house alternative with bouncy fat groove, slamming moody basslines and some synthy themes and additional instruments that are added gradually to build tension and excitement. It is such a great EP! #PureGold Love It

John Jastszebski is now well established on the radars of House enthusiasts after his track ‘Would Be Back’ (Bass Culture) became one of the ‘tracks that ruled BPM 2015’.

Now the Parisian producer steps forward to make his debut release on Danse Club after his vinyl only remix of ‘Kalisha - I Got Something Here’ become a staple in DJs records bags in 2014.

For many months it was intended that the super deep and groovy ’Berceuse’ would front the EP with its relentless chord lead line and punchy bassline; however the E.P. is led by ‘Circle’ - a late night dance floor track with driven drums and deep chords that perfectly encompass the Danse Club sound DJs have become familiar with - full of groove, heavy and essential.

Perfectly rounding off the E.P. but still aimed at the floor is ‘G Society’, a much deeper ‘Detroit’ affair intended for after hours.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Brodanse record label Danse Club Records is the absolutely essential imprint that you need for solid house and techno releases. For example the brand new EP by John Jatszebski proves that France is not only Daft Punk disco house sounds. Three mainstage dancefloor fillers that will keep your underground minded audience in tact and totally addicted. Firstly is the dynamic Circle that is composed with basic elements and despite its repetitive arrangement actually manage to keep you dancing and shaking as this old school metallic bassline bangs along with the punchy mouthwatering dark drums and shakes your fat belly non stop until there is no tomorrow. Berceuse (Original Mix) is the deeper mind trip affair with tribalish grooves, percussion melodies and superb old school basslines and cinematic strings that add that late night ride in London atmosphere. Its very danceable and effective doing functionally its job without too much hassle and old school sensibilities. Finally G Society is great deep moody house with that USA underground feel to it. You close your eyes hypnotised and let your body go with the flow without attempting to feel it consciously. At the end of the day music is the manifestation of unconscious and irrational order! #PureGold Love It

Danse Club has built up a solid reputation with DJs for putting out music made specifically for the floor - the original ‘Train Of Thought feat. Elli’ by Brodanse was no exception and was played by a number of underground heavyweights including Maya Jane Coles, Art Department and Kate Simko.

Danse Club have now pulled together a remix package from nearly 300 entries via their Beatport Remix Competition and commissioned a timeless remix from Tom Flynn (Hot Creations, 8Bit, Viva).

The package contains three totally unique interpretations of Brodanse’s ‘Train Of Thought’ all made specifically for the ‘Danse’ Floor!

Dimitri Kechagias review: The beloved Brodanse from London release finally the winners of their remix competition on their hypnotic collaboration with the fantastic mysterious Elli. Train of Thought is already considered as tech house classic and now 3 magnificent additional versions will make you feel totally and utterly depended on its magical powers. The first remix comes from Tom Flynn who transforms the track into an energetic deep tech house smasher with relentless groove, moody dark basslines, superb synths, airy pads and the hypnotic vocals distorted and placed in the background. It's one of those remixes that easily absorb you in its microworld and your feet is tapping to its rhythm straight away. The Russian Ki.Mi is the remix winner and he deserves to win it with his exceptional touch. His version is deep haunting mouthwatering and absolutely outerspace. The old school basslines, the dark industrial strings and fantastic chunky crunchy groove along with the garage infused drums combined in perfect harmony to build the sonic soundscape that you are obliged to inhabit! It's one of those tunes that obliged you to follow them on the dancefloor without trying too much. We recommend Ki.Mi for more releases on Danse Club. Lastly Deox from Croatia unleashes the nasty techy beats and create an outstanding minimal techno version with detailed sound textures and emotional electronic melodies that add warmth and hypnotic soothing trancy like qualities. High class package not to be missed. Congratulations to the outstanding winners! #PureGold Love It

Danse Club turn to Dutch Tech House master Lauhaus for their 21st release with his ’Relocation E.P.’. The E.P. opens up with ‘Better Beer’, a deep chord driven cut, ridden with groove and overplayed with spoken male vocals. Next up is ‘Dust Devil’, it is deep and melancholic yet driving and tough. - it would be no stranger in any DJ's warm up set. The final 2 tracks on the E.P., ‘Tides’ and ‘Spoof’ take the release onto a darker level with the us of minimal percs, deep bass and low down grooves.

It is no wonder Lauhaus has become a constant on the Danse Club label.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Danse Club records continues to make many heads turn and ask what is that wicked tune that the dj is playing at the moment? The latest EP by Lauhaus includes 4 mega tech house burners that will definitely make many bodies swing and wiggle around. First of all is  Better Beer. Its an excellent deep house meets tech house gem with jazz and soulful house elements. Electronic melodies and addictive spoken vocal sample work like a treat to put you in context and keep you right there for long. Dust Devil is a wonderful deep house jewel with excellent percussion, deep haunting basslines, distorted vocals and jazzy edge to it. Repetitive, infectious, hypnotic and right at the heart of what house music is all about. Tides is long deep techno track with great percussive style melodies, dark moody synths and rhythm that you simply is hard to resist. You can imagine the clubbers sweating with this smasher and having great time as they float along. Last but not least Spoof is much more minimal affair. Deep groovy and minimal microcosmos with some understated melodies coming and going and fantastic depth in its texture. You close your eyes and you are sure that is something hidden inside that you want to explore. #PureGold Love It

Danse Club return with another high quality and timeless E.P without any gimmicks or literal bells and whistles. This time brothers Austen and Scott a.k.a Brodanse turn to 8Bit main-man Markus Homm who’s previous release on Danse Club was one of the most successful releases on the label to date.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Danse Club records is one of the coolest techno / tech house labels from London. The latest release is by the German producer Markus Homm called Magnetic Drums EP and it includes three great tracks to choose from according to your mood and drop without mercy in your dj set. First of all Magnetic Drums is fantastic deep house with dirty moody basslines, punchy techy grooves, lively percussion, retro vintage style synths, twisted vocal samples and great rhythm that take you back in time. Floating and very flowing production that is smooth and soulful. It's one of those tracks that will carry you away to a different magical world. It's one of those tracks that Sven Vath and Carl Cox will play with great pleasure. Next track is Instant Snow Powder which is much more deeper darker techno affair with wobbly bassline, hi-nrg synthy hooks and rolling drums that attack your attention straight away and you feel great pleasure to dance a long. Cool spoken vocal sample is added to bring that sci-fi mysterious atmosphere to it. Hypnotic complex production that showcases the versatility and talent of Markus. Third track is  Lunch It Is which takes a totally different route. It's the darker moody tech house brother with punchy bassline, upfront drum programming, distorted vocal samples that chattering in the background, cool industrial synthy hooks and vintage style melodies. It's a nice hypnotic journey that take you somewhere out there! #PureGold Love It

Following on from the widely applauded Emerson Todd release (feat. Sascha Dive), and the ‘Train Of Thought’ E.P. by Brodanse, Danse Club present ‘The Black E.P.’ - the most avant-garde E.P. we have heard on the imprint showing the label will only release music that Brodanse champion and not follow trends.

This time they have turned to long time Techno guardian, Deepchild (Trapez, Thoughtless) as the label nears it’s milestone 20th release for three standout originals laden with the distinct groove, warped vocals and analog sound only attributable to him.

Label bosses Austen and Scott A.K.A Brodanse have elected themselves to do the remix - inspired by their live set at Fabric late last year - and deliver their most techno track we have heard to date!

The entire E.P. feels well at home on Danse Club.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Danse Club Records releases make you hopeful for the future of electronic music because you can sense that creativity is still alive and everything is not sold out to commercial catchy sounds. The latest EP by Deepchild is absolutely mouthwatering experience that literally blows you away. It includes four top tunes to choose from and drop without mercy on your battlefield. Black Jesus is what you always wish to get on a techno track that respects itself. Tribal pounding drums, dark pulsating basslines, vocal samples that have a point to make and excellent synthy melody running underneath. Hypnotic, raw and involving manage to lock you in its world easily. Garbij is much more techno tool with tribal drums, rolling basslines and mechanical rhythm supported by wide variety of cool sound textures that makes the final result really classy and eclectic. Black days has more Detroit techno influences in it. It adopts a more minimal trancy groove with synthy melody that rocks, cinematic strings and bubbly bassline that moves and shakes without taking even a small breath. So marvellous and twisted that you simply can not get enough of it. Brodanse remix on Black Jesus is an excellent tech house version that house djs will appreciate. The bassline is more smooth, the groove is housey and smooth while the synthy melodies are working perfectly to create that hypnotic atmosphere. Black E.P. is highly recommended! Love it

Next up on Danse Club is a 2 track E.P. by label visionaries, Brodanse. The lead track ‘Train Of Thought’ (featuring Greek vocalist Elli who has previously worked alongside Tigerskin/Dub Taylor) perfectly embodies ’the Brodanse groove’, and is a club track utilising a powerful ‘horn’ and a sub-heavy baseline made to be felt on the floor.

The second track of the E.P. is a ‘basic channel’ inspired club tool. It is as simple as it is devastating, with tons of groove, deep spacious drums, filtered moody chords and eery bleeps. Made for the deep after hour sessions when the mood needs altering.

Dimitri Kechagias review: I don't know if it sounds very extreme but I will compare Brodanse with Disclosure. The first duo is all about tech house and techno while Disclosure is about electro house with pop tendencies. Brodanse have the potential to follow the success of Disclosure if they decide of course to abandon their underground affiliations and more to more warm mainstream waters. The latest Brodanse EP comes on their own label Danse Club Records. It includes two high class hypnotic tech house groovers to win your next dj battle. Train Of Thought as the title suggests is a travelling mesmerising dark techno production that house djs will appreciate as well. The dark moody basslines, the techy pounding grooves and the mysterious vocals by Elli make instantly the difference. The great groove, the mysterious rhythm, the energetic vibe are all here to offer to your audience an unforgettable sonic experience. The weird horn like synthy riff appears in the breakdown and unrests the listener but after a while becomes part of its mysterious atmosphere. Prepare to get locked yourself in the groove of this sublime track. Secret Service is next and for this track the creative brothers compose a darker more minimal affair that has the seriousness, moodiness and coldness of techno with housey undertones that will make it appropriate for deep house sets as well. Without aid of vocals Secret Service is stripped down to its basics dub groover that promises to carry you to many places.  Welcome to the finest Brodanse EP so far! Happy New Brodanse style year 2015. #PureGold Love It
