REVIEW: Lauhaus - Relocation E.P. out on Danse Club records / Armada Music

Danse Club turn to Dutch Tech House master Lauhaus for their 21st release with his ’Relocation E.P.’. The E.P. opens up with ‘Better Beer’, a deep chord driven cut, ridden with groove and overplayed with spoken male vocals. Next up is ‘Dust Devil’, it is deep and melancholic yet driving and tough. - it would be no stranger in any DJ's warm up set. The final 2 tracks on the E.P., ‘Tides’ and ‘Spoof’ take the release onto a darker level with the us of minimal percs, deep bass and low down grooves.

It is no wonder Lauhaus has become a constant on the Danse Club label.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Danse Club records continues to make many heads turn and ask what is that wicked tune that the dj is playing at the moment? The latest EP by Lauhaus includes 4 mega tech house burners that will definitely make many bodies swing and wiggle around. First of all is  Better Beer. Its an excellent deep house meets tech house gem with jazz and soulful house elements. Electronic melodies and addictive spoken vocal sample work like a treat to put you in context and keep you right there for long. Dust Devil is a wonderful deep house jewel with excellent percussion, deep haunting basslines, distorted vocals and jazzy edge to it. Repetitive, infectious, hypnotic and right at the heart of what house music is all about. Tides is long deep techno track with great percussive style melodies, dark moody synths and rhythm that you simply is hard to resist. You can imagine the clubbers sweating with this smasher and having great time as they float along. Last but not least Spoof is much more minimal affair. Deep groovy and minimal microcosmos with some understated melodies coming and going and fantastic depth in its texture. You close your eyes and you are sure that is something hidden inside that you want to explore. #PureGold Love It
