Purple Disco Machine, the reigning king of disco, joins forces with hottest British band of the moment Nothing But Thieves, to deliver a captivating new single 'Something on my Mind.' The dynamic collaboration showcases a twist on the typical Purple Disco Machine sound - this time leaning into electronic indie pop with shimmering synth textures, a bubbling electro bassline, and Nothing But Thieves’ unmistakeable vocals. The unique blend of genres from both artists is further enhanced by the dynamic production of the band’s vocals by Dom Craik and the co-production of the backing track by chart topping producer Duke Dumont, who has a friendship with Purple Disco Machine borne out of playing shows together over the years, and a mutual respect for each other's work.

This concept for a collaboration blossomed from a deep mutual respect shared between the two artists. Purple Disco Machine has long been an admirer of the indietronica sound, as evidenced by his remixes for artists like Foals , Two Door Cinema Club , Balthazar , New Order and Royal Blood . When Nothing But Thieves approached him with a request to remix a track from their latest album, Purple Disco Machine had a different proposition in mind. Instead, he proposed the idea of creating something entirely original together. Enthusiastically embracing this notion, the band eagerly joined forces, resulting in the birth of 'Something On My Mind.'

With its shimmering synth-stabs, 'Something On My Mind' wastes no time in captivating the listener with its irresistible groove. Supported by a pulsating electro bassline, each verse builds anticipation, paving the way for a euphoric chorus where Conor Mason's vocals soar to his iconic falsetto disco-bliss heights. Two pillars of the present-day disco and funk worlds, Purple Disco Machine and French superstar Kungs team up for their newest release ‘Substitution’. Kicking off the year with this surprising collaboration, the two internationally acclaimed producers prove they are the perfect party-starting pair with a single earmarked to be a dancefloor favorite. The two artist’s relationship flourished when they met at several festivals, with ‘Substitution’ embodying that pure excitement and energy only found dancing next to boogie-loving punters. Simply one of the hottest records out there at the moment. With support from the likes of Annie Mac, Pete Tong, Danny Howard and about every other specialist radio DJ out there), Purple Disco Machines huge new single 'Dished' is FLYING out there!!!

Tino Piontek aka Purple Disco Machine is the man behind the anthems "My House", "Devil In Me" and more recently "Love For Days" with Boris Dlugosch. The Dresden native's next dancefloor bomb is "Dished" (Male Stripper). Now been signed to the legendary Positiva Records, this now looks set to be THE anthem of the summer.

Dished (Male Stripper) boasts all the hallmarks of a future festival and club anthem. In the same way that Body Funk masterly made the sum of two disco songs bigger than their parts had ever been, this time Purple Disco Machine takes some Italo-disco from Man 2 Man Meet Man Parrish 'Male Stripper' and mashes it with the aptly named Ellis D’s Dishapella to create an absolute 12/10.

It's quality. Its camp and it's bloody huge.
