After months of build up and anticipation from fans, talented music producer, keyboardist and DJ Moon Boots releases his exceptional third studio album Ride Away, out via Anjunadeep today. The album features an international superstar cast of collaborators including Cherry Glazerr, Nic Hanson, Ora The Molecule, Dope Earth Alien, and Black Gatsby.

Kungs (pronounced « Koongs ») is a 19 years old producer from the south of France. He started his musical career with a djembe gifted by his parents to him at the age of five. From these early days Valentin could spend entire afternoons listening to Rock’n’Roll classics with his father. From The Who to The Kooks with many in-between, this essential listening forged the first steps to Kungs inspiration as an artist.

Discovering a passion for electronic music in his teenaged years, Kungs became infused with interest for melodic sounds and crafted timbres always lead by a dominant vocal. By the age of seventeen his interests had evolved, and creating melodies using his own instruments became a passion.

Shortly after his first experiences with a digital production software, Valentin was sharing remixes across the board of online social networks. His remix of Bob Marley - ‘Jammin’ and Lana Del Rey ft Molly - ‘West Coast’ both boast several million plays on Soundcloud & YouTube.



After a few unofficial remixes, official remixes requests were around the corner. From Axwell & Ingrosso to Lost Frequencies, Kungs quickly became a key remixer for the other DJ producers. Kungs’s remix of « Are you with me » counts now more than 16 million views on Youtube and more than 65.000 fans are following his Soundcloud page.



Simoultaneously, his first original track “To Describe You” became available.

This collaboration with Mozambo featuring Molly instantaneously hit one million plays on Soundcloud.

With early support slots with significant acts from many aspects of the melodic house landscape such as Kygo and Klingande, Kungs has quickly formed into a well established artist in the scene today with a tendency to provide driven and impressive production and live sets.

In January 2016, Kungs travelled the European continent alongside David Guetta in order to ensure seven times the warm-up of his Listen Tour.

On February 16th, Kungs released his new single " This Girl " melting the soul voice of the Australian band Cookin' On 3 Burners with his powerful hooks. Only a week after the release, "This Girl" was already charting all around Europe and keep growing every day.

German producer Matthias Vogt made an impressive Anjunadeep debut late last year with his ‘Seven Summits EP’ picking up support from Pete Tong, Dixon, Jimpster, Tensnake, John Tejada, Dusky and many more.

He follows up with ‘Matters’ feat. Phil Fill, a jazzy vocal number showcasing the diverse musicality that has seen him release a series of acclaimed jazz albums over his 15 year career. Fused with a warm house groove and bouncing bassline, Phil Fill’s vocals float above in a typically deft production from Matthias.

"The sorrow carves deeper into your being, the more joy you can believe it," it says in Khalil Gibran. The music on "Convergence", the sensual, pain-filled album, the singer-songwriter Malia has taken in just over three years with Boris Blank of Yello, this realization makes tangible. The eleven songs of this intense and inspired production whose title is best translated into German as "convergence" are about life and survival. There are hymns full of tragic moments and dramatic findings, they tell of ghosts, prostitution, slavery, disease, spirituality and of course love. They are as light as profound, as wise as simplistic, and often simultaneously.

Open Malia speaks about the events and emotions that inspired her new album. "When I started to work with Boris, I had just gotten the diagnosis of breast cancer. Meanwhile, I had constantly and repeatedly treatments. Both breasts were amputated. However, the worst was the thought of not being there for my now six year old daughter to. She has given me a lot of strength and me no choice left, in a sense: they needed me, so I could not possibly die. Music has always given me strength, so I've thrown myself more after diagnosis more into my music - and took up in the middle of working with Boris still "Black Orchid" ". Malia's much lauded label debut "Black Orchid" from the year 2012 - for this album she received the Echo Jazz Award in 2013 - was devoted to the work of Nina Simone.

Malia met the musician and producer Boris Blank 2010  through a friend. She wanted to stretch out their feelers in the direction of "electro scene" as she calls it. The "Zurich sound fanatics and studio tinkerer" (Der Spiegel), who had already worked in the course of the success story of Yello with Shirley Bassey and Billie McKenzie, recognized in the character's voice and the charisma of the singer a wonderful addition to his clear tone. "I need to feel something in the joints and marrow, to listen to it with the heart," says the singer and praises this way, even this intuitive and very direct cooperation. "Boris's music has made it my easy, musical, lyrically and melodically to go on the trip. Its production caresses me with sound, he creates moods, guides me, like a director would do it in a movie and gives me a sense of security and space. Our cooperation was very direct. The music on "Convergence" is clearly electronic, voice organically. "Maybe it's soul, in the sense that this music comes from the soul," says Malia. "For me, the roots of these pieces go even further back, to gospel and blues - they are as direct as honest." For ‘Everybody’ Italian producer Il Santo teams up with Eigthy, creating a classic house track with a vibe that’ll take you right to the sunny island of Ibiza. Now out on the Wildlife imprint, including a remix by Dutch DJ Jess-E, a regular on the label. His remix also carries the classic house feel of the original, but has a more deep house sound to it.

Il Santo is a composer, record producer and sound designer from the beautiful city of Rome, Italy. With his band DauniaOrchestra, one of the most well known bands In Italy that mixes jazz with world music, he has been performing on several international jazz festivals. Thanks to various encounters with DJ’s and artists his interest in dance and electronic music was sparked meaning he sometimes makes a detour outside jazz. He previously released music on ChinChin Records, Big Mama’s House and Black Hole Recordings.

The latest release to welcome 2014 comes from the hands of Il Santo from Italy featuring the sexy vocals by Eighty. The original mix is quite short radio friendly relaxing nu jazz track that will be played as warm up track or as main track on radio stations who love quality vocals and etherial melodies. If you look for the more upfront version Jess-E from Netherlands is on board and he service a magnificent classic house recipe version with amazingly feel good rhythm, sexy groove and the very cool old school organ riffs that were used with great success amongst others on the eternal classic by The Nightcrawlers. Tech house tribal beats, funky basslines will hook you instantly with its hypnotic groove, feel good relaxing rhythm, saxophone addictive loops that bring summer, sunny beaches and warm memories in your head and some cool old school vocal samples as well.
