At the Amsterdam Dance Event 2017 it was big pleasure to arrange and meet the legendary DJ & producer Markus Schulz. Once again he offered one of his most memorable open to close (SOLD OUT) sets at Melkweg in Amsterdam on Friday night. The interview was recorded on Thursday and we discussed with him  his opinion about ADE. He reveals all about the Deluxe Edition of his last year released album Watch The World that is just out including extended and remixes of the original album tracks. We talked about his future projects including the release of his Dakota album and what's the difference of this project with his releases under his name and his all vocal EP coming soon. He talks about the preparation of  his open to close set and the future prospects of his successful label Coldharbour Recordings. Enjoy the always captivating speaker Markus Schulz. We met  by chance while we were searching to find the location of the clubs that we had to attend and I didn't miss the opportunity to request an interview by the upcoming Russian producer and DJ Kit Sunders. He is from Finland and he is considered one of the most influential progressive trance DJ and producer. Orkidea has the wide respect and recognition from the dance community and he has released numerous albums and singles with big success on beatport charts. He played at the Pure Trance event during ADE and we requested an interview with him. In the nearly 15 minutes interview we asked him about his productions, studio set up, time that he spent to produce a track, how he met with rich solarstone and become such a good friends and about his future releases and collaborations plus the events he played including the Classical Trancelation event in Finland that well known classical symphonic orchestra played well known trance anthems in the most prestigious space in Helsinki. Definitely an interview worth watching with a real legend of quality class trance.

One of the most upcoming trance record labels from Holland is definitely Above All records. Matt who is the owner of the label and member of Spark & Shade accepted our request for a short interview during ADE. His name and talent has been praised by everyone in the trance scene and his definitely one of the most forward thinking artists. Gai Barone played a wonderful DJ set at Pure Trance Night during ADE and we had the chance to catch up with him for an interview. In this Interview he talks about his first releases, his affiliation with labels like Afterglow and Pure Trance, the way he gets inspiration and how his work as music therapist has influenced his music output so far. We discuss the perception of his latest album and we talk about future singles and his DJ performances so far. One of the main DJs at the Mental Asylum room at the ITWT Festival during ADE was the awesome Darren Porter. Darren originally from Newcastle and currently residing in Germany he talk in this interview about his latest releases at FSOE recordings and his affiliation with the label and we discuss about his latest releases, his studio, if producing electronic music is his full time job, the current state of the uplifting trance scene in the world and in Germany and his future plans. One of our best DJ and Radio host was at ADE of course conducting interviews and meeting wonderful artists. DJ Falk from Radio Sunshine Live despite his busy schedule he gave us a wonderful interview about his coverage of the Amsterdam Dance Event. He told us about the interviews and events he covered during ADE, the growth of Radio Sunshine Live as National Radio Station with brand new studios in Berlin and of course his ongoing career as DJ and producer with forthcoming releases on major label in Germany. One of the most definitive moments of ADE Next is when the Demolition Panel comes together to judge and make comments on demo's of upcoming producers. It must be said that this years panel was one of the best with some very serious and thought provocative comments. One of the most proactive charities during ADE is 10.000 hours with wide variety of actions that have as a purpose to make aware the electronic music fans of ways that they can get involved in charity work and help those who may need some extra support in society. The General Manager talks about the goals of 10.000 hours in this years ADE and how you can get involved as well. Watch it now.



The spectacular paintings local artist STALE made in honor of Amsterdam Dance Event are exhibited at the Brakke Grond. The pieces portray world famous DJs like Hardwell, Nicky Romero, Ferry Corsten, Dash Berlin, Dyro and Showtek. 

The huge size action painting portrays have an explosive energy. With his dripping and unique mixing technique STALE literally throws the paint on the canvas and creates a crystal clear effect which makes the colors sharper and intense. 

The exhibition is part of #TAKEAUCTION. #TAKEAUCTION is a charity initiative of ADE and 10,000 HOURS to raise funds for youngsters with special needs. At www.take-auction.org fans and visitors have a chance to bid on items from their favorite artists while supporting charity.

All raised funds are used to organize a festival tour for youngsters with special needs. These youngsters like to party just as much as anyone else, but to do this they need a little help. The festival tour will be completely adjusted to their needs. 

STALE supports the campaign and donated fives pieces of his work.
