This magic track has been a myth among the funky house hipsters since its first appearence on radio shows on NYE 2014... from there one there has been a huge demand from all corners for this previously unavailable track. Only a few private copies existed and were kept as a secret weapon. But it's impossible to keep a house bomb like this under wraps... Mike La Funk's seductive house track ‚Wake Up’, featuring the vocals of Colonel Red (who recently collabed as well for productions of the Dutch duo Chocolate Puma), is finally ready to explode with its offical release set on August 05th on strongly supported NY based label BeatCanteen Recordings with exclusive remixes from Helsinki based Something Good (Nocturnal Groove), Loui & Scibi and Dub Fragments from Brazil.

To get into the mood the offiicial video clip is provided here for a bite of the phenomenally tasty SOMETHING GOOD remix:

Flux BPM Online highly recommends the exceptional deep house/tech house anthemWake Up with stunning remix by Something Good. Positive feel good real pure classic spot on straight forward house anthem. Don't miss it if you belong to those who havent discover it yet! #PureGold

Joris Delacroix & Oliver Schories - what a team!

After getting to know each other some years ago in the Netherlands they became friends and finally joined their musical forces in 2014 to create this (late) summer EP.

Being each of them already solo a class of its own, the two original tracks of this collaboration bring it to a new level. Rounded up with 3 huge remixes by N'to (Hungry Music), Dan Caster (Stil vor Talent) and Zusammenklang (SOSO) this is a package that Schories' label "der turnbeutel" can really be proud of. Enjoy it!

Flux BPM Online recommends to any follower of deep house/eclectic house/electronic music this fantastic package of great originals and stunning remixes that will transfer you to magical exotic places and summery faraway spaces. Quality from start to finish and must have, check them on soundcloud and judge for yourself!

It has been more than a whopping five years now since Stee Downes released his last album (“All In A Day”). But the Dublin born, Amsterdam based jack of all trades has been simply too busy with numerous other successful projects and his renowned DJ gigs to take the time to record its follow-up “The Bigger Picture” in Berlin's Jazzanova Recording Studio. This longplayer is set to be released in 2014 / 2015!!!

Now, for starters, we are treated with the pre-12inch “Caught Up”.

It's almost take for granted by now that Sonar Kollektiv A&R-manager Alex Barck and Paskal & Urban Absolutes, the label's unofficial in-house remix duo, have looked after the track. And that's how we actually get two times uplifting vocal house that works as well in the club as on the airwaves.

Further on, the currently massively uprising siblings Kyodai take no prisoners and go for a thriving club burner and give the arrangement a fantastic sweeping beat and pump the bassline all up to the front. All the way, from Australia comes the contribution by Rocco Raimundo, who prowls audibly in calmer climes. This way “Caught Up” wins even more points and could molt to become – in form of this remix – a proper summer smash.

On the digital release you'll find on top of Raimundo's remix also the instrumental version of the original. You won't regret to give it a try: Next to the ultra funky bass by Alex Grube, the guitar by Arne Jansen, the drumming by Michael Grabinger and particularly the piano and rhodes, played by none other than Sebastian Studnitzky, put you in an outrageous good mood.

Flux BPM Online highly recommends this EP for the fans of eclectic deep house/electronic music! It's 10/10 for the whole stunning package of original and high class remixes.

re-viv-al
noun
an improvement in the condition or strength of something; a restoration of life or consciousness; a reawakening of religious fervor

Swimming in a sea of sterile and formulaic EDM releases, even as the genre reaches new and historic heights of popularity, for some, the magic has waned. One of the dance scenes most consistent and long-lasting artists, Noel Sanger, returns to form with this release, a revival of the spirit that's missing from so much of today's music, but with a sound that's pure future.

Along with Noel's original mix, a remixer roster of 3 rising stars puts this package over the top, each one bringing a distinct, hopeful flavor to the release, while maintaining the feel and spirit of the original. New York's Ellroy Clerk brings a proper big-room house remix ready to destroy any big club or festival stage. Brazil's great progressive hope Morttagua delivers a groover of a mix (fans of Eric Prydz, take note). Lastly but far from least, Sundrowner continues his steady ascent with a classic "Coldharbour" style prog-trance version, huge baselines and melancholy feels included at no additional charge.

Rise And Fall aka Russian based DJ and producer Anton Vishniakov is back at Bonzai Progressive with another stomping progressive workout. 'Seize The Day' comes with two stunning remixes from two masters of their trade.

The Original Mix sets off on a smooth deep progressive groove as a deep resonating bass is joined by a snappy kick and subtle percussion arrangement. Intensity within the sound builds with the addition of some brilliant risers and quality FX. The track breaks down into a surreal display of pads and basses that really captivate your mind and take you on a hypnotic journey. A wonderful trek into the darker side of progressive house and most definitely not to be missed.

Airwave is first up on the remix and we are in for a real treat as always. This guy has been at the top of his game for quite a while and he continues to deliver the goods. The workload he takes on is hugely impressive and the results outstanding. He relentlessly strives for the best out of himself and he always manages to surprise. Currently working on new material and collaborating we remain excited to see what he comes up with next. Here he takes the remix down the breaks path with a beautifully arranged progressive cut. Huge soundscapes are formed out of an array of synths and pads to the backdrop of a solid break beat groove. An intricate web of melodies are there to be discovered which gives the track a truly unique flavour. Lots to look out for hear and will no doubt have you back listening again and again.

Another master of progressive vibes is up next on remix duty. Moshic delivers his remix in style as always. His last Bonzai outing came in the form of 'Do It To Me Now' which saw much attention on the circuit for its quality and the diverse range of remixes available. Always great to see this guys works hit the office and we hope to see lots more in the future. The remix intros with cool distant sounding kick and percussion combi, this soon dissipates and becomes a powerful, thumping kick with crisp and sharp hats. The bassline is the dominant force here as it etches out a fantastic groove that will have those dancing feet moving in no time. There is a darker element rolling through this sound and it remains in just the right spot throughout allowing the main track the space to evolve. As the track progresses you suddenly realise you've become totally immersed with its hypnotic qualities, even on the break, as the percussive elements take over you are still locked right into the groove. A monster of a tune that is not to be missed!

After remixing Che Armstrong & Chris Johnson's 'Warehouse 34' back in December 2013, TR20 make an overdue but welcomed return to Axon Recordings. The guys have been really busy recently, putting out some superb releases on their new Kyubu label. They've already had some big support from the likes of Nick Warren, Anthony Pappa and Barry Jamieson. The guys look set for great things.

TR20's latest offering is 'Dark Skies', which as you'd expect, is a deep and dark slice of techno. The original mix is full of analogue warmth, and has some great melodic elements to keep things interesting. Great work here!

First on remix duties is the mighty Stephen J. Kroos, who edges his version slightly more towards progressive territory. The track, with it's great groove, goes to the next level with some additional piano stabs.

Completing the package is Alex Nemec & Nik Feral's version. The guys have kept it deep, echoing the original mix. They've made excellent use of the melodic elements and created a nice melodic techno vibe.

In the spring of 2013, the mysterious Project Ten Walls with the groundbreaking "Gotham" EP attracted audience attention.

Shortly after, the title track of the release became the absolute dance floorfiller in the Main Rooms of the clubs, as well as on global festival stages and eventually became the underground anthem of the summer.

The follow-up release, the "Requiem" -E.P.,  had the same success of its predecessor, shot to the top of the Beatport charts for months and dominated the dance floors within the international club scene.

With the current single "Walking With Elefants" Ten Walls offer another prime example of their unique signature sound:

Ten Walls form with progressive beats and their unusual sounds an audible, dark work of art.

"Walking With Elefants" now ranks among the most played of underground house DJs tracks of the summer - and is rising.

In Ibiza, the electronica-Tune increased recently on the most followed on Shazam  track after it was voted last March by BBC Radio 1 cult presenter and top dj  Pete Tong for "Essential New Tune" and was used heavily during the day program .

After his acclaimed gig at Melt! Festival, he performed live on Radio 1 from the legendary Ushusia in early August.

Every single track of the three EPs is a separate, small sound cosmos, celebrated by fans of all sorts of electronic music.

Experimental sounds and artistic interpretation represent the creative core of Ten Walls; the constantly evolving live performance presents itself as extraordinary and complex as the song productions.

With its captivating multimedia performances Ten Walls will break both the audible and visual boundaries and will establish itself as a fixture in the Electro genre.

Ten Walls can be experienced at two selected Dates live in Germany:

08:08. Munich (Harry Klein) and 6.9. Neuss (Light & Dark Festival).

With the release of his latest single ‘Brand New Day’, Massari has never been clearer about the message he wants to send to his growing international fan base. “It’s my way of showing the world every brand new day is a chance to chase your dreams, to make wrongs right and to make a difference.”

‘Brand New Day’ also signifies a professional and personal rebirth for Massari – a return to his former home on maverick independent label, CP Records, and to the creative process that made his 2005 self-titled debut a truly global success. “It’s a brand new day,” Massari says. “My sound is stronger than ever and it’s amazing to be back with my family at CP.”

Massari’s earliest impressions of his childhood home in Beirut range widely, from beautiful memories of his family, to horrifying images of the bloody Lebanese civil war then raging around him. “They were hard times and I have some terrifying memories I wouldn’t wish on anyone, but those experiences helped me learn to write from my heart and to try to inspire people.”

At age 10, Massari’s family relocated to Canada, living first in Montreal and then Ottawa, but even then, life was far from easy. “My parents were very poor when I was growing up, but I’m blessed to have come from hard times and I’m lucky to have lived a hard life. It keeps me humble, it keeps me grounded and it’s made me appreciate everything I have.” When he does talk about his past, Massari tends to focus on the things that made him want to sing in the first place – the Arabic music his family played so often at home, and the songs of North American superstars like Stevie Wonder, Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson.

One of the key elements of Massari’s universal appeal is his signature sound; a distinct blend of Middle Eastern melodies and North American beats that sets him well apart from other international pop sensations. With his latest single Massari expands on that sound substantially, taking cues from cutting edge Pop, Electronic and Hip-hop trends and drawing inspiration from his experiences on tour.

His 2005 debut, Massari, was a runaway hit and garnered the Lebanese/Canadian artist a 2006 JUNO nomination for R&B/Soul Recording of the Year, multiple MuchMusic Video awards, nods from the Canadian Urban Music Awards and SOCAN, as well as licensing deals all over the world. He became an international star, achieving Gold and Platinum sales in multiple territories worldwide and landing a high profile endorsement deal with Pepsi in the Middle East and North Africa. As demand for Massari’s live performances grew, he soon found himself selling out shows from Dubai to Berlin and Las Vegas, as well as performing in his hometown of Beirut in 2009 to commemorate Lebanon’s presidential election.

“When I left CP we were all very young,” Massari shares. “We’d achieved success to a magnitude beyond our understanding. There’s a yearning to recreate the magic we did in 2005, but there’s no pressure. It’s all about making beautiful music, and as a Lebanese/Canadian artist, I want to spread a positive message that reflects both of the cultures I grew up in.”

Bunny Tiger tracks are so instantly clubfriendly and playable that our philosophy was actually to stick to the strong originals and go without any remix work. But when some of our best buddies came up with own takes on their favourite Bunny Tiger tracks, we just had to give in to our enthusiasm.

Remix package number three adds some new heat to Sharam Jey & LoulouPlayers' bootygroover 'Hum Hum' that was already pleaded guilty to causing excessively hedonistic dancefloor behaviour.

This time remix partner in crime is Sharam's homie Tapesh, right now certainly one of the most notorious thugs on the House turf - bossing a fat record of multiple club assaults including his current coup 'How I Do' that's been hijacking the Beatport genre-charts for weeks now.

Portugal's Deep House/Nu Disco young gun Daniel Fernandes is the second baddie in Bunny Tiger's 'Hum Hum' mob, once again blazing his glory with a playful and summerly rework that will undoubtedly spare him some years on probation.

Audio Noir continues his run of top quality EP's with the brilliant four tracker, 'Rewind'. Each track takes us on a journey through retro sounds that are garnered with a modern twist.

First up we are transported back to '1988' with a supped up ride into breakbeat and classic house grooves. The intro boasts a full on breakbeat vibe with a few vocal samples coming through. We soon get into a 4/4 pattern as a super cool old school bass fills the sound. The breakdown ushers in some nice strings before slamming right back into the sound along with superb retro synth samples that are instantly recognisable. A bit of the old hardcore on Bonzai Progressive which will draw a lot of attention, no doubt.

'1989' intros with a cool percussion line alongside a nice and simple synth. Big chunky kicks soon take over and pack a huge punch. A deep resonating bass come in and a driving rhythm ensues. You will connect instantly with the classic vocal sample, and not only that, you will once again remember '89 as the hoover sounds dominate. So many elements make up this track and even thought the sounds have been given a modern makeover you will relate in a big way, superb stuff.

Classic breaks are the basis of the intro to '1990', and alongside a well crafted percussion section your dancing feet will be moved involuntarily. Phat kicks and crispy hats keep the rhythms flowing alongside a cool synth line and ultra classic vocal samples. The break down has a wonderful hard edged synth that bounces along and takes us back into the main track with a fantastic deep bass in tow. As if we aren't spoiled enough, in comes an awesome old school piano riff that will blow the roof off any venue!!

We end this brilliant EP with '1991'. Massive chunky kicks provide the intro alongside cool FX and shuffling hats. A huge dominating bassline soon takes over and will be enough to shatter any sound system into submission. In the background we get a taste of some very cool vocal samples while up top we have an infectious synth hook which fits the sound perfectly. The track shifts slightly as the bass intensifies bringing in a gated pattern before coming back around to the main sound, just amazing!

Just before Jakob Häglsperger’s debut album under his moniker Kalipo sees the light of day, the Berlin based Antime label is proud to present to you a teaser in form of a digital single set to be released on July 18. “Yaruto” not only gave the album its title, but is also the centrepiece of the abstract narrative that Häglsperger was trying to stretch out over its ten tracks on which he worked almost autonomously for over a year. It combines all the distinctive elements of Kalipo’s sound: Disembodied, chopped up vocals, warm basslines and polyrhythmic structures.

With his epic 12 minute long remix, Midimúm alias Martin Steer takes the track’s danceability one step further. Steer – who not only runs Antime but has also been one of Häglsperger’s closest friends since their teenage days and has been sharing with him production and songwriting duties in the German Electropunk outfit Frittenbude for almost a decade now – explores his passion for Dub Techno and droney, synth-laden Electronica to make “Yaruto” fit for peak time hours.

On top of that, the digital bundle also includes “Andrewsarchus”, a track inspired by a lively reconstruction of the prehistoric mammal of the same name which Häglsperger once saw in the dinosaur-themed recreation park Germendorf in Eastern Germany. With its distorted analogue synth lines, flaring drones and throbbing beats, the tracks pays a claustrophobic homage to the extinct animal that is generally assumed to be a predator or scavenger.

Kalipo’s debut album Yaruto will be released on September 12th. It will be followed by at least one complimentary single and various videos created by no-one else but Jakob Häglsperger himself.

1. Franky Rizardo – A New Recreation
2. Franky Rizardo – Touch My Soul
3. Franky Rizardo – I‘ve Got a Feeling

It’s hard to think of dutch wonderboy Franky Rizardo without inmediately associating it with his massive contributions to the Defected catalogue or his broad spectrum of mainroom hits including collaborations and remixes work for some of the most important names in the game.

This time he proves his versatil nature by submerging himself into a more underground vibe, the type we learned to love so much at OFF headquarters. We didn't take long to decide once we heard what he had in store for us, the tracks were loud, sexy and intense.

"A New Recreation" builds around an addictive r&b vocal while a driving bassline keeps the pace and a sexy xylophone type synth tells us summer is getting closer by the hour.

"Touch My Soul" has a deeper perspective with classic house chord stabs and another hypnotic vocal prancing around a massive drum machine groove.

"I’ve Got A Feeling" closes this amazing package diving even deeper with lush keys, bubbly bass and an overall feel good atmosphere.

As always, we provide a set of essential nightclub burners and warmly welcome Franky to the team!

Following the success of their debut Molecular EP released last year on JOOF V2, it was a unquestionable decision to have them repeat this performance. You wont find better Prog Psy than this, their deep sexy take on this world really is outstanding. This is one of those EPs for those heads down moments getting lost on the dance floor, plenty of tippy hypnotic moments keeping each and every track very unique and interesting.

Transgressive psychedelic lounge music production.

Spintribe project began in 2013 as collaboration of two acts from Moscow: Igor aka Tribal Walkers and Andrey aka Majectic 12. Before working together the guys actively released and performed at various festivals in Russia, Europe and USA.

Igor and Andrey have been in the trance scene since 2003 and have releases on JOOF rec, Shivlink rec, No Comment rec, KissTheSound rec, Planet Ben rec, Psytropic rec. Spintribe produces classical psychedelic progressive with atmospheric and minimalist elements built on endless experimentations with the baseline. Their multifaceted rhythmical structure, classical dance patterns with a tech-funky edge and a deep groovy vibe were highly appreciated by the listeners of their debut EP released on JOOF rec in December 2013.
