After remixing Che Armstrong & Chris Johnson's 'Warehouse 34' back in December 2013, TR20 make an overdue but welcomed return to Axon Recordings. The guys have been really busy recently, putting out some superb releases on their new Kyubu label. They've already had some big support from the likes of Nick Warren, Anthony Pappa and Barry Jamieson. The guys look set for great things.
TR20's latest offering is 'Dark Skies', which as you'd expect, is a deep and dark slice of techno. The original mix is full of analogue warmth, and has some great melodic elements to keep things interesting. Great work here!
First on remix duties is the mighty Stephen J. Kroos, who edges his version slightly more towards progressive territory. The track, with it's great groove, goes to the next level with some additional piano stabs.
Completing the package is Alex Nemec & Nik Feral's version. The guys have kept it deep, echoing the original mix. They've made excellent use of the melodic elements and created a nice melodic techno vibe.
