Music News: AVALAN ROKSTON release powerful new single “Who’s gonna save you” via Tomorrowland Music

Rising electronic duo AVALAN ROKSTON return with a stunning new release on Tomorrowland Music, showcasing their distinctive blend of melodic techno, cinematic soundscapes, and emotional depth. “Who’s gonna save you” is now out via Tomorrowland Music.

Formed by Valentijn Hoogwerf (AVALAN) from Amsterdam and Emil Vogel (ROKSTON) from Berlin, the duo have quickly built a reputation for crafting music that blurs the line between club euphoria and heartfelt emotion. Since their first collaboration in 2022, they’ve become one of the most talked-about new names in the melodic techno scene, uniting two creative worlds into one unique sonic identity.

AVALAN, a Grammy-nominated vocalist and producer, brings haunting melodies and raw emotion, while ROKSTON injects an underground edge and meticulous sound design; a contrast that defines their unmistakable sound. The new single, released via Tomorrowland Music, showcases their signature blend of melodic techno, cinematic soundscapes, and emotionally charged vocals.

“This track is a reflection of everything we’ve experienced over the past year. We wanted to create something that feels intimate yet powerful, something that moves both the heart and the dancefloor. Tomorrowland Music felt like the perfect home for this release.”

Known for their emotionally charged performances that merge DJ energy with live vocals, the duo have already played standout shows at Tomorrowland (Freedom Stage), Ushuaïa Ibiza, and SAGA Festival, among others, earning support from David Guetta, MEDUZA, Korolova, KREAM, and Argy along the way.

Their viral success stories speak volumes:

“Ocean” (April 2024) – 11M views, 500K likes, 20K TikTok/Instagram uses

“Something To Believe In” (Feb 2025) – 70M views, 3.5M likes, 100K TikTok videos

With over 680,000 organic followers across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, and a growing global fanbase, AVALAN ROKSTON are quickly becoming one of the most promising new acts in electronic music.

About AVALAN ROKSTON

AVALAN ROKSTON created a distinctive sound combining melodic techno with emotional vocals, effortlessly crossing boundaries within the realm of more underground and commercial electronic music. With their forward-thinking approach to electronic music, the duo has rapidly gained momentum, amassing organically about 680,000 followers across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube within just one and a half years.

AVALAN, born Valentijn Hoogwerf from Amsterdam, and ROKSTON, also known as Emil Vogel from Berlin, are crafting a fresh sonic identity by blending Valentijn’s emotional vocals and Emil’s underground-inspired productions and quickly gained the attention of tastemakers in the scene. Their growing musical portfolio includes standout releases such as "Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad?" — a reinterpretation of Moby’s classic featuring Moby himself, which dropped in February 2024 — and "The Ocean," a collaborative rework of their viral song “Ocean” with Ukrainian duo ARTBAT, released in July 2024. In April 2025, they continued to expand their artistic reach with their feature on "Don't Be Afraid"by Italian duo Mathame.

After their first viral success “Ocean” in April 2024 (11 million views, 500,000 likes & 20,000 usages of the sound combined on TikTok and Instagram), February 2025 marked a turning point for them again: they achieved viral success with "Something to Believe In" – the track’s infectious sound captivated a worldwide audience, generating over 70 million views and 3.5 million likes across TikTok and Instagram, and inspiring nearly 100,000 TikTok videos and 20,000 Instagram reels using the song. This viral momentum further solidified their rising status within the global electronic music scene.

Their live performances are a full-scale experience, merging the energy of DJ sets with the emotional impact of live vocals. This innovative format takes them to major stages across the globe, with acclaimed appearances at Tomorrowland 2025 (Freedom Stage), SAGA Festival in Bucharest, an arena show in Sofia, sets at Ibiza’s iconic Ushuaïa, performances across the Netherlands, events hosted by Upperground and A State Of Trance in London and Warsaw, as well as shows in India, Berlin, Cyprus, and Austria.

With growing fan engagement, strong collaborations, and an energetic live concept, AVALAN ROKSTON are steadily carving out their place in the international electronic music scene.
