Before some years after the legendary Trance Energy event in Utrecht we went all the way to his home town to record an interview in his home studio and his hospitality was admirable and his answers of course. As dj he has proved many years that is one that you can trust to bring the best blend of tracks with his exquisite mixing skills. Christian Burns is a lovable singer that his album Simple Modern Answers was a pleasant surprise for all his fans worldwide. The result of their collaboration is the bouncy and extra smashing Frozen Heart that is now delivered in its big room mix ready made for your mainstage performance. The beat are tight, the basslines solid as rock and the composition keeps things playful and lively. The breakdown is the moment that Christian's vocal appears and I'm very sure that at least the female of the human species will adore it. Its the type of vocal that can even make you cry if you remember some personal moments. The lyrics are poetic and certainly will strike a chord deep inside if you don't have Frozen Heart. You Need some Love to melt that ice and allow you to love that special someone. The climax is super raw with euphoric synths in true Swedish epic prog house style. The bridge part is fantastic with all the percussion and the gate effect on the vocal. The final breakdown uses less of the vocal and goes full on epic prog euphoria.
