Invalyd’s last outing on Frost Recordings could only be considered a success. ‘Never Coming Down’ featuring Polina charted in the Beatport Top 10 and received a huge amount of support from big names in the business including Armin van Buuren, W&W and Markus Schulz.

This time around the talented producer teams up with Jonny Rose to give us ‘Canyon’, a storming production with a boat load of energy and an incredibly strong vocal performance. Remix duties are expertly handled by the man himself, Rafael Frost as he adds that trademark Frost sound we all love.

The track Canyon is offered in the original mix and Rafael Frost mixes both vocal and dub. The original mix is a dynamic very energetic epic big room progressive trance meets prog house hybrid with pounding drums, punchy energetic basslines and huge main euphoric synthy hook that blows your mind. Jonny Rose performance shines in the breakdown an add meaning and substance followed by the full on hands in the air euphoric climax. The label owner Rafael Frost transforms the original into mainstage anthem perfect to drop on festival arenas and observe the crowd go out of its head. Rougher aggressive electro infused basslines, pulsating grooves and cranking drums while on the breakdown he reveals his rave style distorted synthy hook that simply sounds amazing in huge soundsystems. The drop is right in your face headbanging moment that nothing will stay the same. The package includes the dub mix for those who would like to focus on the melody and infectious groove but in my opinion this track is all about Jonny's presence in 75% and the rest is the well produced backing foundation.
