Dimitri Kechagias review: The beloved German duo Kyau & Albert collaborate with the magnificent singer Maria Nayler for their forthcoming album Distant Lights. The single Calming Rain is released on Raz Nitzan top record label and is supported by Above & Beyond and Armin van Buuren amongst others. The track encapsulates all the good qualities that you can find on Kyau & Albert tracks. Well composed production with perfect arrangement and open minded really progressive fast forward mixture of styles with influences coming from variety of sources. The electro trance bassline nicely is combined with chunky techy groove while on top high class emotional synths are merged with cinematic dreamy strings and stunning breakdown with Maria Nayler being the absolute focus point with her outstanding heartfelt performance. The climax is truly euphoric with uplifting synths and infectious riffs permeating all over your body giving the chance of therapeutic rain that washes over your pain and any melancholy that you may feel at the moment. Calming Rain is a peaceful positive production that has of course bitter sad core into it but as always with trance music after rain there is always sunshine coming through to offer hope that reassures you that everything will go alright! #PureGold Love It
