REVIEW: Rafael Frost & Jennifer Rene - Higher out on Frost recordings

Frost Recordings is off to a flying start with both its first releases reaching the Beatport Trance Top Ten and a massive all round DJ support! For the Label's third offering we are delighted and excited to present to you a killer new collaboration release. This time Rafaël Frost is connecting to US singer songwriter Jennifer Rene to deliver the appropriately titled "Higher" that takes Vocal Trance to a whole new level. This release definitely sees both Rafaël and Jennifer at the top of their game!

Dimitri Kechagias review: The beloved Rafael Frost rocks the trance world with his record label Frost recordings and his 3rd release is a straight forward winner. He works together with one of the finest and most emotional voices in trance, the delicate and always fragile Jeniffer Rene. When I saw Jennifer's name on the title I was expecting something more smooth and delicate but Rafael Frost surprised me as he delivers his unique rough and heavy progressive sound that targets the mainstage sets. His aggressive in your face industrial basslines are combined with his pumping beats, the blissful melodies and the nice synths. The breakdown is mesmerising for sure with beautiful smooth atmosphere that works as the perfect soundbed for Jeniffer Rene to perform her lyrics that soon the trance family will learn by heart and sing a long. Of course Rafael soon reveals the distorted rave style synthy lead that is very addictive and catchy indeed. When the beat cracks back the whole dancefloor will erupt and the clubbers out of order will get wild and start jumping around. The sweetness of the vocals and the melodies is perfectly balanced with the more hard elements in order to deliver the sense of being Higher while you experience that track. Peak time anthem not to be missed and played on repeat mode. There is a dub mix for those who would to concentrate on the epic synths and big room sound. Love IT
