REVIEW: Outer Pulse - Ethereal Glyph / Gravity Lights out on Touchstone recordings

Outer Pulse are two brothers from Venuzuela & have garnered a loyal fanbase with their warm, organic bassline-driven meticulously layered & unique sound. First up is ‘Ethereal Glyph’, taken from Solarstone’s ‘Electronic Architecture 3’ compilation. It’s deep, sultry undertones, ethereal vocals & minor chord changes make this one for those long, sweaty heads-down #138bpm club nights. On the flip side & the uplifting tip is ‘Gravity Lights’, where gated pads & a glistening lead synth-line are thrust into the spotlight.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Touchstone recordings strikes it lucky with the brand new ep of the upcoming Latin America forces Outer Pulse. The tracks Ethereal Glyph and Gravity Lights are able to energise your senses but at the same time to relax your body and encourage you to be alert but hypnotised at the same time. Gravity Lights is certainly a magnificent anthem with straight forward arrangement and superb melody that  manage to attract your attention and after its constant repetition to crawl under your skin and put a stamp in your heart. Emotional journey that is worth enjoying and experiencing from start to finish. Ethereal Glyph is an interesting uplifting production with mesmerising heavenly vocals upon the emotional melodies and the psy tech trance kicks and basslines. The main big breakdown comes quite earl y with wide variety of emotional synthy plucks and beautiful piano riffs along with exotic ethnic style themes and breakbeat sequence that travel your mind and prepare your body for the coming of the big electronically infused feel good euphoric climax! #PureGold Love It
