REVIEW: Duncan Newell & Lee Van Willem - Whitechapel out on Touchstone recordings

London based duo Newell & Willem have a #138 scorcher up their sleeves with ‘Whitechapel’, named after the London borough where the track was conceived. Blowing out the cobwebs with a scorching acid line, ‘Whitechapel’ takes no prisoners from the outset & the simple-but-effective arpeggiated synth magic is unveiled at the break. Hot.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Touchstone recordings continue the legacy of high class trance releases with the explosive super banger WhitechapelDuncan Newell and Lee Van Willem collaborate to deliver an awesome production that will keep you with your eyes and mouth wide open as it is pure joy for any trance fanatic. Banging driving rough basslines, razor sharp acid overtones and thumping drums push the adrenaline levels to the limit. The breakdown is relaxing, calming and truly magical with excellent sounddesign. The main synthy lead recalls classic trance anthems from the past and can bring devastation and furry on the dancefloor. The crescendo moment is anthemic, hands in the air and epic to the maximum with fantastic melodies and feel good themes that uplift your spirit and it is not exaggeration to say that give you the sense of flying as skydiver into the unknown. #PureGold 10/10 Love It
