REVIEW: Beckwith - Take Me Home feat. Natalie Conway incl MANIK remix on Anjunadeep

A long-time Anjunadeep favourite, Paul Beckwith follows up the excellent “Anandia EP” with another fine showcase of his garage-tinged New York sound, on the irresistible “Take Me Home”.

Bringing his low-slung, funk-driven approach to the floor, this time collaborating with Natalie Conway - after her work with Finnebassen and Sonny Fodera. Fiery low-end groove and soulful vocals injected with trademark Beckwith melody, this one’s got the lot.

Fellow New Yorker MANIK takes over remix duties, dirtying up the original with a tough punchy groove, raw bass and flecks of acid.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Anjunadeep is all about diversity and sonic surprises that simply make you scream with joy whenever you check their brand new releases. The latest one will definitely satisfy those who adore the modern take on deep house but with some strong traditional deep house elements. Beckwith returns with his classy dark sexy sinful and lustful track Take Me Home featuring the stunning vocals by the house diva Natalie Conway. The original mix is great attempt to re-envisage USA soulful house through the prism of the current 90's revival house with old  school basslines, classic organ riffs that recall Ibiza or sunny Miami parties by the beach. The piano melody is simply infectious so expect to get addicted to it very easily. Hypnotic mysterious and tailor made for late night sets Take Me Home proves once again that real house is still alive and moving. MANIK is on remix duties and as you can suspect he embarks on his own journey that is absolutely mindboggling with aggressive deep bassline, superb techy in your face groove and chopped vocal parts used creatively and smashed around in order to become more like decoration on the top of the delightful tribal sounds that MANIK deliver in his futuristic soundspheres. #PureClass Love It
