Blake Jarrel is an American progressive trance DJ and producer. He is originally from New Orleans, where he discovered the electronic dance sound by already going to shows of Sasha, Armin Van Buuren, and Sander Kleinenberg at the age of 15. Quickly after he began producing his own music starting a very promising career. His move to Chicago, due to hurricane Katrina, marked a period in which Blake immersed himself in the city’s booming house, techno and trance scenes developing his own indefinable sound; a sound that has received praise of major DJ’s in the electronic dance scene. His releases have been topping the Beatport charts and Blake himself has been spinning the decks in big clubs all over the globe. Brace yourself though, because Blake has many more to come and it will be good.

The fantastic dj & producer Blake Jarrell well known for his personal established sound presents the magnificent big room progressive house meets trance anthem Roaches. Blake once again impress us with his production skills and he does what he knows best. Roaches is a straight forward pumping bouncy monster tune that has the ability to move thousands of festival goers who will go totally berserk with it. It's arrangement follows the classic progressive house rules of two main breakdowns and two fantastic full on drops to bring mayhem on any dancefloor. He adopts tough bouncy techy groove while on top he adds his pulsating aggressive bassline until to land on the first breakdown that the huge euphoric synths are coming to the surface to raise the temperature and increase excitement. The well known vocal sample is one of those clever ones and works like a treat to excite the clubbers who identify themselves as true fighters of the underground dance music movement. The drop is powerful and in your face with heavy drums, pumping bass, vocal samples and sharp synths. The second breakdown is longer and allow the main theme to spread all over the place along with the magnificent vocal sample.
