ADE 2014: Discover ADE's Venue RADION with sophisticated line-up's

 The brand new cultural complex, housed in a former dental centre in Amsterdam-West, makes its ADE debut with a sophisticated line-up.

RADION has been hosting some events a for couple of months already but has opened its doors officially yesterday. RADION is not completely new though, it is the successor of Pand 14 in the South East of Amsterdam. Pand 14 used to be a casino, then a Chinese restaurant, then a squatted building and in 2011 it became a club with a turning dancefloor. It closed its doors in January because the building had to make place for a new highway.

RADION, with its raw and industrial look, has risen from the ashes of Pand 14 on the other side of the city. It is part of the ACTA initiative that houses students and creative entrepeneurs. RADION will not be here forever though. In less than 10 years it will follow into Pand 14's footsteps and will be broken down because of new construction.

Pand 14’s ADE past
This year might be RADION’s first ADE but Pand 14 participated in 2012 and 2013. They have hosted different label nights with Trick Track records, Upon. You records and Bunker records for example. A 24 hour party marathon was held and artists such as Kolombo, Deadbeat, Carlos Valdes, Aron Friedman, Marco Resmann, Orgue Electronique, Knobs, Kid Mistik and Faniac were part of the Pand 14 ADE line-ups.

Knekelhuis
On Thursday Knekelhuis, Hieroglyphic Being, Beau Wanzer and Parrish Smith will provide the Radion dancefloor with music.

On Friday Junction and 50Weapons invite Shed, Phon.o, Benjamin Damage, Anstum, Fjaak, DEFRAME, Kevin Arnemann and Paul Cairo.

ON AND ON x Field Records
ON has formed an alliance with four techno imprints; Our Circula Sound, Avian, Field and On Records. On Saturday Sigha, Shifted, Function/Inland, Inigo Kennedy, Samuel Kerridge, Jeff Rushin, Nicole Rosie, DEFRAME, Polar Inertia, Artefakt, Cyspe and Ben Buitendijk are playing.

1REDLIGHT – Prime numbers Showcase
On Sunday you can party during day time on Trus’me his music. More artists are to be confirmed to the line-up.
