ADE 2017: The RA Cup returns to ADE

Resident Advisor and De School will once again host a charity football tournament, all of the money raised will go to Help Refugees.

In a bid to raise €10,000 for Help Refugees, they have doubled the size of the competition, with 16 teams vying for the (sort-of) famed trophy. RA, De School, Rush Hour, Clone, Numbers and reigning champions Dekmantel will all be returning in 2017. They'll be joined by new batch of Dutch contenders: Voyage Direct, The Rest Is Noise, PIP Den Hague, Radion and Zwart Goud, plus a team led by Amsterdam's Night Mayor, Mirik Milan. And there's a fresh international contingent, with River Dubplate, Odd Fantastic, Berlin Atonal and Orchid AM all getting involved.

Members of the public are invited to watch the drama unfold on the day, with entry €5 per person. As well as the football, some well-known DJs will stop by to play music, plus there will be table tennis and table football. The tournament begins at 11 AM local time.

All of the money raised will go to Help Refugees, a grassroots organisation that supports the most vulnerable people reaching Europe's shores by working alongside local groups, charities and volunteers. If you'd like to donate to Help Refugees, you can do so here. All amounts, however small, help an important cause.
