REVIEW: Alex Schaufel - Lost In Space out on Armada Subjekt

Allowing for the darkest of vibes to flow freely throughout this two-pack, Alex Schaufel has certainly made his Subjekt Recordings label debut one to remember. Able to captivate any audience with its ominous atmospheres, both 'Lost In Space' and 'Oblivion' have earned themselves a spot in the Techno hall of fame with its lingering textures and complex arrangements. If you want your party to be underground and inexplicably mood-setting, this is exactly what you need.

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Alex Schaufel presents his first EP from Armada Subjekt called Lost In Space. The track Lost In Space as the title suggests is deep dark moody melodic progressive techno that can be played easily in deep tech house sets as well. Industrial vicious synths, spacey effects, synthy distortions and deep hypnotic grooves along with deep rolling basslines that drive the track forward and add that fantastic sense of travelling without moving towards unknown territories. The 2nd track Oblivion is deeper minimal affair with slow grooves, superb drums and basslines arrangement while the freaked out melodies and sound effects provide that dark mysterious atmosphere. It is very convincing and definitely can absorb the devoted techno fan to its microworld. #PureGold Love It [/content]
