REVIEW: Above & Beyond feat. Alex Vargas - All Over The World (The Remixes) out on Anjunabeats

Recently described as "the world's biggest cult band" by Q Magazine, the revered trio Above & Beyond have announced their latest electronic anthem "All Over The World" (feat. Alex Vargas).

Taken from the globally chart topping "We Are All We Need" ("Album Of The Month" Mixmag), "All Over The World" was a standout anthem from the trio's landmark set at New York's iconic Madison Square Garden.

Showcasing the band's renowned emphasis on songwriting and musicality, "All Over The World" tells the tale of a fractured relationship between a son and his estranged father; wrapped into a forward-thinking and thoughtful club anthem.

On remix duties, groove master Tom Staar provides a stripped back club ready interpretation with his 5am Black Out mix. With his 2014 single "Totem" a firm favourite in Above & Beyond's DJ sets over the last 6 months, the London producer's shuffling percussion and vocal filtering give the track a feverish energy.

Regularly grabbing the ear of Radio 1's Pete Tong and Danny Howard, llyus & Barrientos take things deeper on the first Anjuna outing. Taking a dubbier approach, the Glasgow natives blend of 90s inspired piano and throbbing bassline give the original a smooth contemporary house twist.

Completing the package in exhilarating fashion are UK bass trio I See MONSTAS. Already a favourite among the UKF community, Rocky, Rufio and Skaar ratchet up the tension for a filthy - uncompromising drop.

Dimitri Kechagias review: All Over The World is one of the finest vocal tracks from Above & Beyond featuring the incredible and absolutely handsome sexy voice of Alex Vargas. Its time for the release of the remix package that changes the vibes of the original completely as it introduces the track to different  audiences. First of all the stunning Tom Staar transforms the trancy original into a powerful mainstage festival house anthem with pounding noisy drums, heavy electro infused basslines and strong epic synths that add to the track excellent atmosphere and turn it into one of most uplifting moments of any progressive meets electro house dj sets. From the banging, booming, vavooming Tom Staar remix we go deep underground for the llyus & Barrientos deep house version. They apply old school 90's raw basslines, chunky drums, distorted vocal samples and vintage atmospheres. If you loved the smoky dark garage club sound of the 90's you are going to adore this top makeover. Last but not least the superb MONSTAS deliver the fantastic Drum'n'Bass interpretation that is energetic, dynamic and in your face that make great use of the original vocals, cinematic strings and epic synths as well. Travelling floating sounds that simply wash away all the boredom and inspire you to go out and dance. It's the perfect mood changer to make you go wild and very emotional at the same time. #PureGold Love It
