REVIEW: Anske & Patrick Ytting - Distant Worlds out on Monster Pure

When an in form trance producer hooks up with a classically trained musician you know you are in for fireworks and that is just what we have in the form of ‘Distant Worlds’. Andrej Anskinas aka Anske and Patrick Ytting both reside in sunny Southampton, UK but originally hail from Lithuania and Denmark respectively - so a collaboration was an easy prospect and my what a melody they have penned.

Molded in the fashion of the Above & Beyond coined ‘2.0’ trance style it is a mega production brimming with tons of energy and emotion. Big bold beats and basslines rock the intro big time before they make way for a sweet emotive piano solo that leads into a big synth driven melodic masterpiece!

Dimitri Kechagias review: Monster Pure is on the mission to bring some of the hottest pure trance anthems. One of them is the brand new collaboration between Anske & Patrick Ytting called Distant Worlds. Their common effort is successful one and will definitely be one of your favourites when you make you selection for your first/progressive trance part of your dj set. The track starts in truly aggressive fashion with electrified freaked out electro infused basslines, pumping chunky grooves and playful arrangement with dubstep elements. The main piano melody appears nearly the breakdown and lead the track into it with amazement and joy to those who appreciate classy melodies that are above the average and stick in your head for long. The extremely euphoric rock infused synthy riff appears to perform the very same melody that piano managed earlier to make so familiar and then when the kick strikes back you can expect the biggest pay off moment of your life time. Banging, shaking, powerful but very emotional, fragile, sensitive, wild, even funky and free at the very same time. Quality composition that keeps you interested and attracted to the track for its whole duration dreaming of Distant Worlds. #PureGold Love it
