It's always a treat for Coldharbour fans when Brazilian Danilo Ercole demonstrates his talents, and the Curitiba native delivers three tracks which have been hugely anticipated for quite some time.
Following his appraised excursions on Markus Schulz's Buenos Aires '13 compilation, yielding Point of View and Freezing Rain, Danilo's work has shined throughout many DJ playlists on an almost weekly basis, through original and instrumental.
But to launch 2014, there are fewer tracks on Global DJ Broadcast which have garnered as much favoritism as leading track Scroll. A highlight of the recent New York World Tour, the track possesses a dark, menacing mood that impulses the dance floor into a feverish groove. The Tomorrowland-featured Cruzer shows off Danilo's techy tendencies, whilst Hot Cue has been an ever-present in Markus' solo sets since the summer.
All three tracks can easily find themselves interspersed within one set due to their diversity and effectiveness. And combined, it means that Danilo Ercole's momentum looks set to increase throughout 2014.

The influential label headed by the perfectionist and workaholic dj Markus Schulz presents advanced trance productions that stand out and always make waves within the trance scene. The Latin American Danilo Ercole is considered as one of the most consistent producers with high class output. Danilo is always innovating and he never copies previous successes in order to remain at the top league of the dark moody trance sound. His Scroll EP contains three fantastic underground dark trancers that will be played very often in the trance world. Scroll is superb example of modern industrial dark moody trance with crunchy mechanical drum beats, deep and haunting driving basslines and great chord progression that sounds like a spiral that traps you in its world and is pretty hard to get away from it. The breakdown reveals the epic cinematic synthy riff that will raise the hair from your neck and will lead the track to its earth shaking climax. Cruzer is the deep tech trancer that stands out as a result of its innovative drum programming, the distorted basslines and its spacey atmosphere. The breakdown is the moment that the huge dark synthy lead is introduced to bring excitement to the crowd. In the climax the track continues dark and groovy with distorted warped synthy lead that sounds like a fly or mosquito that can annoy and disturb. Last but not least his track Hot Cue is a marvellous deep hypnotic trancer that works in longer trance sets. Excellent drum beats, deep dark throbbing basslines, long breakdown with some chord progression and the classic synthy lead that adds the nice rhythm and dreamy groove that will lock you in its mysterious soundscape straight away.
