1. Griffin (Original Mix)
Having your tracks supported by the likes of Hardwell, Nicky Romero and Tiësto, is sure to start the fire to a promising career in music. Dutch producer Julian Calor, hot off the release of his ‘Space Dial’ on Revealed, now lands his signature sound on Trice Recordings.
‘Griffin’ is a solid piece of prog-house, ready to blow up the big crowds.
Dimitri Kechagias review: If there is a record label that deserves to be applauded for its achievements in the EDM scene in 2013 is of course Trice recordings. In my opinion is the record label that quickly manage to build a loyal following and through the careful selection of their releases with tracks coming from a wide variety of what we term as house music manage to keep its catalogue varied and forward thinking. The latest one comes from an upcoming talent from Holland, the very promising Julian Calor who knows best what really works on the EDM floors and service the magnificent hands in the air party banger Griffin. Powerful and ultra dynamic beats, heavy aggressive in your face basslines that lead nicely on the calming breakdown that the dreamy melody is introduced just before the heavy beat returns for the full on euphoric hands in the air sequence. Rich with detail and layers and layers of nice sounds and melodies Griffin balances well the more aggressive parts with the euphoric melodies in order to keep the crowds jumping and the djs believe that they are like gods figures on planet EDM.
