Dimitri Kechagias review:  Alter Ego records is the label that represents trance music in all its colours and shapes without doubts. The latest release by Avii includes two super strong big room progressive trancers called  Slamming The Beats &  Odyssey.   Slamming The Beats as you can guess from it's title is an energetic progressive trancer with tough banging beats, distorted aggressive basslines heavily influenced from dubstep while on top various melodic layers are introduced along with chopped female voices. Packed with effects that keep the track interesting and your body jumping along we land on the dubstepish breakdown with ambient chillout melodic themes and unforgettable melodic theme. When the beat drops we are left unattended to party like there is no tomorrow with the feel good emotional distorted synthy lead. Odyssey carries on the same power slamming style with heavy techy groove, rough aggressive in your face basslines and very strong dreamy ethereal melodic themes on top. The track will surprise many as it is quite experimental and targets the big room / tech trance dj sets who dont afraid to slam it and punch it hard! Melody, harmony vs rough edgy grooves, Love iT!
