REVIEW: Claire - Games incl remixes out on Polydor / Island / Universal Music

1-Original
2-Heart Sharks remix
3-Rey & Kjavik remix
4-Mowskyy remix
5-Abby remix

Nothing short of a sweet, sun-kissed, magical piece of indie pop music, that touches and we all love to dance to, hang around  to or listen to at the car stereo, comes here from Munich based up and coming act Claire. "Games" is extracted from the bands forthcoming debut album called "The Great Escape" which is to be released later this year and backed by a dancefloor-orientated mix package from well known names that holds something for anyone.

The line up opens Rey & Kjavik (Exploited / Kindisch) which is the brainchild of Magnús Rey and Ísak Kjavik. Two guys from the middle of fuckin' nowhere, which choose to stay anonymous. It's ice-cold refreshment and musical dopeness what comes out of their studio right now.

Next up are the 3 Berliners from I HEART SHARKS who are definitely on a long time high. Melt!-hymn, remixes for Bloodgroup, Wilhelm Tell Me & Skrillex-protégé Etnik and 25.000 Facebook Fans can’t be wrong. Their remix of "Games" is pushing things forward in a wonderful way, and will fit wonderfully into blogs and on every summer open air out there.

As MOWSKYY the 3 boys of CLAIRE remixed themselves. They deliver the dancefloor-steamhammer on their track and find pleasure in brute basses and surprise drops. Be sure to keep eyes and ears on future releases by CLAIRE soundsystem MOWSKYY!

Last but not least we have another big german indiepop-outfit having made their mark on a Games-remix: The Berlin-Londoners of ABBY. The ABBY remix focusses on trap-enhanced broken beats and adds a whole new direction to this remix package.

As production-team „Feeling Valencia“ they created more than a dozen international releases on Cocoon, Get Physical, Viva Music and many more. Apart from that, they’ve been remixing, composing and producing for the likes of Apparat, Ellen Allien and Moderat. Further cooperations with Clockwork, Tale Of Us, Hunter Game and Monsieur Adi will follow…

Dimitri Kechagias review: If you check Claire's youtube page for the official video for Games the fans mention underneath. "Possibly the best thing I have heard this year." or "you are the next big thing" or "can't stop hearing this sh**, all day long". As you can understand there is a certain enthusiasm in the online communities for this incredible group and this track that is shaped to become the absolute summer radio hit that will be playlisted on the majority of radio stations even if they dont  play electro, indie or other EDM genres. Its destiny is to crossover and become the anthem for the young generation without doubts. The original mix of Games has the mixture of the modern electro pop sound with retro elements and the result is to sound recognisable and reminding you something that you can not easily figure out. The remix package is awesome with versions for djs to play in their summer performances. Heart Sharks remix is the 80's electro pop style version perfect for those I Love The 80's  parties. Rey & Kjavik remix is moving in the deep tech house territory with excellent deep basslines, techy beats and just some parts of the vocal played quite distorted and fu** up. If you like the deep house/tech house this version is hypnotic and absolutely marvellous. Mowskyy remix is my favourite cause it combines the full vocal with pumping beats and excellent energetic sequences that remind you the "Hardfloor" acid trance classics. Last but not least Abby remix is the chill out lounge version for those lazy Sundays. Summer HIT Guaranteed. Love IT
