REVIEW: New World Punx - Romper, the trance anthem of the summer 2013

Saturday March 30, 2013… Madison Square Garden… the world’s most famous arena.

For a venue used to seeing the best of the best on a nightly basis dance music brought something truly unique to these hallowed grounds for one night only – A State Of Trance.

It became obvious early on that if there were a statement to be made about the genre, this was the place to make it. Enter Ferry Corsten and Markus Schulz; both heavyweights on the scene in the own right but uniting here to bring forth a new world trance order as New World Punx.

During this night they debuted their single "Romper".

Featuring the typical NWP sound, with a heavy bass, epic risers and a haunting melody, this one makes the fans go nuts!

Dimitri Kechagias review: After huge anticipation in the trance scene about what dj and producers Ferry Corsten and Markus Schulz cook together they reveal on ASOT 600 at Madison Square Garden their common project New World Punx. Their set on this party will remain legendary and will be great to release it as a compilation. The first common track of the two legends is called Romper and is large as the title suggests. Powerful to the maximum composition that will be played a lot in the forthcoming EDM festivals season. With its in your Face booming beats, the maddening raw and heavy basslines and the fantastic old school rave style synthy lead in the breakdown in my ears sound like a bouncy  huge truck that is moving  towards you with drunk driver who is half sleep half awake and you don't know if he will come straight on you. It would be cool to release Ferry's Fix and Markus own take on it too. Romper is a great start of this top project that we hope to carry on with an album perfectly made for the NEW WORLD PUNX like us worldwide. Love iT!
