Twho vs. DDei&Estate - On A Ragga Trip

Beatport : 10.05.2015

Dimitri Kechagias review: Daniel Deimann & Martin Hensel from Essen, Germany are DDei&Estate who collaborate with the mysterious Twho for the mindblowing recreation of the rave classic On A Ragga Trip by SL2 who they have used the legendary reggae song Walk and Skank by Jah Screechy back in 1984. Now the brand new version is called On A Ragga Trip and deserves to explode on any huge summer festival arena because simply sounds super massive. The thumping rubbling basslines, punchy rough marching drums and the fantastic reggae vocals and melodies from the original sample is used  in a very creative style throughout the track but particularly the breakdown is very effective with the old school 90's breakbeat that will bring back memories from those unforgettable hedonistic days. The euphoric rave synthy stabs come out from nowhere and explode in the surface increasing the tension and leading the track to its mouthwatering mind boggling body banging intense drop that will keep the crowd jumping up and  down like there is no second chance for them. The legendary General Tosh is on board as well as he delivers an exceptional remix that will create equally havoc on the summer rave floors worldwide. His version moves on the electro house meets dirty dutch house trip with energetic in your face basslines, bouncy techy grooves, heavy dose of breakbeat sequence in the main breakdown and squeaky wonky melodies and distorted voices in the drop that will drive the young clubbers insane for some minutes. If you want more playful and maddening version don't look any further. Lastly the resident dj of Tiger records, Dj Falk is back to deliver his own version. You dont expect nothing less than a dynamite for the festival arenas. Playful application of the classic ragga vocal along with rave style synthy melody and distorted vocals on top while the foundation is very simply but infectious chunky groove and energetic bassline that moves the track into oblivion. Get on On A Ragga Trip, you will not regret it. 100% Tiger Rave Weapons! Love IT, Rave IT
