As our 'The Deep End' series hits number 5, we have a truly inspiring collection for you...
Kicking off with the sublime 'Sparkling in the Rising Sun' from Alexander Koning, with deep warm beats, subtle keys and female spoken vox.. swiftly followed by the uplifting tones of Egor Prado "Apollo Road' with its acid synth notes, waves of lush chords & swirling vox pops , making for an uplifting moment
'Check it Out' from John Manning wraps up a bundle of funky drums & hits, a rounded rolling bass and twisted little synths to form a highly addictive percussive cut
Things get a little deeper and thoughtful as Audiostorm 'Harmony Of Ocean Deepness' gives us sweeping melodies, sharp hooks and bass stabbs & cinematic tones, before the collection ends with Tip D'Oris 'Hope' and chunky tribal house groove with shimmering synths and tones woven through the groove.
Dimitri Kechagias review: One of the coolest deep house/tech house compilations returns on Babylon records with the best volume so far. 5 incredible tracks that will move you, groove you and touch you deeply for sure. Well crafted tracks with nice rhythm to groove along and let your mind dive in its deepest soundwaves. All 5 have their uniqueness and personality with great melodic themes, bubbly basslines and relaxing rhythm. I can imagine coming back after a hard day at work and letting all the worries go along with the flow of these top tracks. Hard to decide if there is a favourite in here maybe Alexander's Koning with Sparkling in the Rising Sun because of the cool spoken female vocal that remind me the vocal used on the unforgettable all time classic Little Fluffy Clouds by The Orb. Dont miss it if you dare to go deeper underground. Love iT!
