UK producer Damion Houchen, aka Genix, makes a welcome solo return with "Stateside" and "United" - the latest in a succession of consistently impressive EPs.
One of three Genix productions to feature on Above & Beyond's iTunes #1 Dance Chart album "Anjunabeats Volume 10", "Stateside" is awash with Damion's trademark colourful textures and sun kissed piano melodies. Building to a euphoric release, "Stateside" is yet another peak time anthem in the Anjunabeats arsenal.

One of the main artists on Anjunabeats rooster is of course Genix who manage to build a great reputation about his name and his tracks are high quality from strart to finish. His style is moving on the progressive trance pathway with uplifting elements as well. Firstly Stateside is chunky crunchy bass focused prog trancer with playful basslines, great melodic layers at the background and plenty of grooves to dance the night away. The breakdown is a real revelation with great atmosphere, euphoric synths and melancholic piano chords. When the beat bangs back get ready for a full on hands in the air climax with such a memorable melodic theme that will remind you golden moments of Anjunabeats back catalogue. United on the other side is an excellent deep progressive trancer with electrified greedy basslines, wobbly bouncy beats, and playful melodic themes on top. The breakdown is melodic, blissful and calm until the huge synthy lead comes out from Genix magic hat to tease the clubbers and drive them nuts. The beat returns and upon is placed the synthy theme. It can move and groove thousands of radio and club followers worldwide. Melodic proglifting trancers for EDM and trance sets too. Love IT!
