1.Raptor (Original Mix)
2.Stealth (Original Mix)
Coldharbour is proud to welcome a new member to the family, and he makes his entrance in high-octane fashion. Hailing from the Ukrainian capital of Kiev, Peter Golub comes under the spotlight via his Digital X alias, and as the names of the tracks suggest, they are devastating battle weapons in any DJ set.
In what has been an incredibly high profile stretch of gigs for Coldharbour boss Markus Schulz, Raptor has been the epicentre of the waves transcending from Miami’s Ultra Music Festival to Los Angeles’ Beyond Wonderland, and from Johannesburg to the historic A State of Trance 600 event at Madison Square Garden in New York City. With additional support from Armin van Buuren on A State of Trance, Raptor looks set to become a big crowd pleasure as spring blooms.
Not to be outdone however, Stealth has been an in demand request in its own right, particularly since lighting up the Armada Beach Festival in Argentina’s Mar Del Plata. It has one of those melodies you will quickly find yourself humming along to after a few listens.
This talented Ukrainian is definitely a name on the rise. And with Raptor and Stealth, his productions pack quite a punch too.
Dimitri Kechagias review: Coldharbour recordings is a highly successful record label and one of the most influential in the trance scene. Markus Schulz has inspired many young djs and producers to follow his style and for many he is an icon. His latest discovery is Digital X who delivers his two magnificent prime time weapons Raptor & Stealth. First of all is the magnificent Raptor. Dynamic dark progressive trancer with energetic techy beats, rough and sharp basslines and superb breakdown that the producer reveals his secret card that is of course his epic distorted synthy lead to drive the clubbers nuts and blow their minds without any mercy. Stealth moves on the same dark Gothic deep progressive trance direction with sidechain effects, relentless build up of the various sound layers until to land on the breakdown and allow to come at the surface a massive huge synthy riff that will cause hysteria and great crowd reactions on the dancefloor. If you follow the Coldharbour sound Digital X provides two excellent smashers in the pathway that this top label opened for many new talents to follow. Highly recommended, Love iT!
