Richard Durand and Pedro Del Mar are no strangers to each other. For the preparations of Richard's Australia themed, 10th installment of his "In Search Of Sunrise" series, in which Pedro was involved with no less than four tracks, the two decided to work together on one song. The end result became known as "Paint The Sky", the second track on Durand's ISOS 10. On his recently released "Mellomania 22" mix compilation, Pedro Del Mar used the track as well. During the recording sessions for "Paint The Sky", the two producers already knew they wanted the voice of Roberta Harrison, known from the successful indie band Wild Strawberries, to feature on the final track.
"Paint The Sky" shows us exactly what happens when two great minds in electronic dance music come together. The track evolves like an emotional journey full of energy but with deeper progressive details. Roberta Harrison's vocals bring back memories of classics like Tiësto's "Just Be" and with remixes by heavy weights like Alex O'Rion, Tom Cloud and Eximinds, it is clear that we're dealing with an absolute dance smash.

The original version is a superb slice of tech trance meets balearic trance sound that merges the sounds of the two talented creators into one brand new and really refreshing output. If you like travelling dreamy creamy trance beats with crunchy techy caramel bits in it and emotional piano theme in the breakdown then you will adore Paint The Sky straight away. Alex O'Rion transforms the original into a rougher, tougher big room tech trance version that retains the atmosphere of the original but with peak time tendencies. You can easily imagine djs dropping this in stadiums and festivals and the crowd coming together to dance a long and sing loudly as well. Eximinds deliver an equally stunning version on the progressive trance tip with unpredictable sound and brand new melodic riff that has eastern and psy trance influences in it. Rougher beats, aggressive sharp basslines and hypnotic melodic riffs ensure that the audience will be left without thoughts and any words. Hands will be in the air until to reach the sky and paint them with those very nice melodies and mesmerising vocals. Lastly Tom Cloud who lately abandoned his progressive trance sound in favour of the more mainstream appealing epic prog house sound provides the Swedish epic prog house vibes with feel good synths and dubstep infused breakdowns.
