REVIEW: Deep Haze - Ariana EP out on Crystal Source recordings

1-Ariana (Original Mix)
2-Ariana (Matt Skyer Remix)
3-Light Years (Original Mix)
4-Light Years (Manuel Rocca Remix)

Opening 2012 on Crystal Source with a pair of belting tracks is Deep Haze and their Ariana EP. Ariana is the first track on the release and is a pounding club track with an epic melody, complemented by euphoric pads, plucky synths and atmospheric acid sounds.

Matt Skyer is on remix duties for Ariana and has really turned up the heat on the track, turning it into a full on dancefloor monster. Big beats, an incredibly epic breakdown and uplifting mainsection all add to this big room trance version.

Light Years is the second original track on the EP and is definitely the more melodic track on the EP. With a bouncy bassline, gorgeous piano breakdown and hypnotic main lead, Light Years is packed full of emotion.

Rounding up things is Manuel Rocca with his remix of Light Years. Rocca has fully utilised the uplifting melody of Light Years to bring us a beautiful piece of melodic trance complete with a great lead, sparkling piano and delicate arpeggios.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Crystal Source recordings is back with another noteworthy uplifting trance EP that packs many kilos of raw energy and stamina of course. Deep Haze offers two great originals that then are offered to Matt Skyer and Manuel Rocca to remix them. Ariana in its original form is a powerful uplifting banger that has enough drive to get you going dancing all night. Long atmospheric calming breakdown with memorable theme I'm sure that you don't ask for more for your aural enjoyment. Matt Skyer version that is my favourite pushes the original to the next level and builds a brand new track that has the word peak time anthem written all over it. He adds new melodic layers and he even uses a big room style riff that will bring hysteria in any club and after the claps and cheers the audience will ride upon the tough beats and along with that epic riff will have their best time in their nightlife.  The original mix of Light Years is so beautiful particularly in the breakdown that the warm piano melody is supported by heavenly like female voices until the drum roll raise the tension to release it on the firing and unstoppable main part. Manuel Rocca on his version seems to upgrade the original into something bigger and ready for the peak time moment of your dj sets. He prepare for us a real screamer with additional thick layers of melody and his breakdown is pure magic with warm piano melodies, ecstatic female voices and he teases so well before he reveals his huge main part that is like an intergalactic galaxy searching for unknown and left away from civilisations forms of life. As you can understand its very cinematic remix as well. Trance as we like it, Crystal Clear Trance , Love IT!
