Dimitri Kechagias review: Zedd's Spectrum is officially one of the hugest club anthems for the summer of 2012. From Tomorrowland to Nature One the track was played many times nearly from every single dj who plays progressive house and electro. Now its the time for Interscope records to present the remixes EP including 8 different versions to satisfy wide variety of tastes. First of all is the awesome trance rework by the number 1 dj for 4 years Armin van Buuren. His remix is already many weeks number 1 at the Beatport trance chart. The reason is pretty obvious when you drop it on your dancefloor. Full on tech trance with electro and progressive house touches perfect to make you sweat on the dancefloor. Tougher and pumpier for sure Armin delivers one of his finest remixes on a very modern neo trance style. The ultra cool A-Trak & Clockwork recreate the original into their own funky energetic retro house sound that will keep happy the crowd that wants some groove along with his melody. The top vocals shines on top and is definitely a hymn in the making. Congorock is well known for his smashing epic prog house meets dirty dutch sound and he does it really well. Tougher and chunkier is a playful non stop groover. The awesome Russian superstar Arty delivers the epic prog house version that will blow your mind. As always tough drum beats, booming basslines, and a totally different main melodic theme that adds a trancier feel to the original. Superb breakdown that has dubstep influences without going in that direction and then full on banging hands in the air main part for the big climax. Arty at his best. Gregori Klosman & Tristan Garner well known for their epic french house sound service the big room ravey style version that includes maddening basslines to drive the crowd wild, an epic cinematic orchestral style breakdown that elevates the vocal to a higher dimension. The German house smasher Deniz Koyu provides a massive rework that starts with a very strong intro breakdown and then goes full on for a storming electro house version that works really well the unforgettable vocal. If you want a clear cut dubstep version that is very melodic, tripping and moving go straight to Monsta remix with stretched vocal and basslines to die for. If you like experimenting with acoustic versions in your sets to attempt your own remix the package includes the awesome acoustic vocals as well. Its officially the Biggest Club Anthem of 2012. Love It!
