A collaborative project between legendary trance producer Darren Tate and Harry Diamond from electro act My Digital Enemy, Tate & Diamond make their debut on Anjunabeats with the electro-edged trouse of "Electrified".

First coming to the attention of Above & Beyond's Jono via Darren, who he collaborated with on classic tracks like "Let The Light Shine In", "Electrified" instantly won fans within the Anjunabeats camp thanks to the strong musical content of its warm melodic chords.

With an almost French house feel to the melodies and instantly catchy vocals from Nicolai, "Electrified" quickly captures fans - before flipping cleverly into cheeky electro bleeps and rolling grooves.

Eventually working back into the main melodics, the track reaches a dramatic synth-sparkled climax with extra layers adding a euphoric rise. 

Already featured on Above & Beyond's "Anjunabeats Volume 9", Mat Zo's Electrofied Dub mix draws further on the French house theme for a rework that alternates between dreamy summer house vibes and raw electro energy. 

Taking a leftfield turn, Zo's Vocal Mix adds some extra funk and attitude to the track. Inviting similarities with Mord Fustang, Justice and Kris Menace, but finessed with Zo's unique flair, this is a remix that is sure to turn heads and destroy dancefloors in equal measure.

Rounding off proceedings, Finnish electronic house enigma Michael Cassette brings his unique 80s-influenced magic to the track. Working the melodies into new brightly coloured shapes, Cassette shapes an intricately layered progressive epic.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Anjunabeats continues to push the boundaries of the sounds and deliver fresh and very exciting new music that is not considered as strictly trance. The brand new project by Tate & Diamond is a serious crowd pleaser on the progressive house tip with electro influences called Electrified. The vocals by Nicolai stand out as his lyrics and the way that performs them brings in our mind French house anthems from the past for sure. The original mix is cheeky and playful with twisted beats, intresting cuts and feel good optimistic atmosphere that is what a good party needs. Mat Zo who is a real star on his own right provides two great versions. The main remix is a very stylish mixture of tribalish progressive house beats and disco funk with electro basslines, filtered vocal parts and great feel good energy in need. You know that when is on you prepare yourself to dance for sure.  The Dub mix is less vocals and less everything that is perfect for those prog house experimental moments. The awesome Michael Cassette is on board as well and he delivers a stunning version on his usual magical progressive house style. As always the finish superstar turns the original into his own thing with wobbly bouncy beats, warm melodic riffs and those computerized Electrified vocals. In the breakdown he introduces a brand new riff that will drive crazy any clubber and not only.
