Alter Ego Records unleashes release number 48 from label manager and Armada artist Rory Gallagher who has teamed up with Welsh singer Kelly Dowell to create the magical 'The Planets Bend Between Us'.

In part 1 of this release we bring you the original vocal and dub mixes. The second part including some fabulous remixes is to come around Christmas!

The original mix is deep and vibrant packing its own unique character! A piece that transforms into a real sonic journey with a host of different hair raising moments.

Based around a haunting piano and strings theme in the breakdown and a fantastic vocal from Kelly the track is injected with a time stopping, hands in the air riff which will definitely light any room up!

Kelly brings something fresh and innovative to the table with her sweet and emotive vocal tones! Expect many more outings to come from the duo.

Dimitri Kechagias review: The always on top brilliant dj and producer Rory is back in his own imprint for a brilliant new release that combines the best of the two worlds. Progressive trance and house influences blended together for a touching epic size progressive vocal anthem. The vocal mix stands out because of Kelly's unusual vocal that sounds quite r'n'b and jazzy and less on the trance diva style. This is though what is so magical about this great record. Rory takes the risk and without fears about codes and conventions he builds his own mythical world of bubbly progressive tribal beats and that haunting piano that plays upon and really creates a very cinematic atmosphere. Very easily I can imagine this track played in a movie or tv serial as well as it so warm, sweet and totally exceptional. The Dub mix service the ones who like a version without the vocals with great atmospheric breakdown with that piano melody that will stay in your mind for many days for sure and the top synthy rays that revealed slowly in order to build the tension and release it on the travelling and really  flowing climax in the main part. Pure quality, Pure winner perfect for the Christmas holidays sets and beyond of course! Love IT!
