'stereo deluxe' is the first of three tracks , with its simple clean drums, swaying subtle synth bubbles & glittering pads, the dark bass kicks you right in the gut as the pads & synths build and open up. dramatic stuff
'motionless' is next,a blend of deep drums, jittery percs and swells of sound building around a emotive chords..a spacey suspense breakdown leads to a warm end to the track
'maui' is last up, a little dirtier and deeper than the other , with the sounds nodding to techno & big soaring soundscapes filing the track .

Dimitri Kechagias review: The quality label of Baroque records Workout that intends to release tracks perfect to work your audience out and warm them up before the big anthems returns with the stunning Stereo Deluxe EP by Bernie Allen. Stereo Deluxe is so cosmic, so mysterious, so beautiful that I believe deep house and deep prog trance djs can play as well cause its quite melodic and spacey. Motionless is superb sounding track as well with that deep dubby even bassline and those sci-fi style melodies that really create the sense of travelling without moving. You can stay motionless but not emotionless for sure. Maui explores even further in a very creative way the deep house/trance genre with subliminal melodies warm percussion perfect for a lounge/chill out style set. Melodic and chaotic is the kind of music that brings mental images straight away. Three top notch productions that will leave you speachless. Travelling without moving...Quality from start to finish.
