Anjunadeep label mainstay Marsh releases his take on an Above & Beyond classic, ’Sun In Your Eyes.’ Taken from the trio’s 2011 album ‘Group Therapy’, the original mix of 'Sun In Your Eyes’ is an ambient composition that swells into an emotional crescendo of layered sound. For his remix, British producer Marsh transforms the track into a driving, dance-floor-ready banger featuring his signature progressive-leaning sounds, this time with a darker twist.
The remix is released ahead of Marsh’s ’25 Years of Anjuna’ mix, where it will appear in mixed form. Marsh’s mix will be the 20th in the special release series this year, which sees artists across Anjunabeats, Anjunadeep and Anjunachill celebrate two and a half decades since the founding of Anjunabeats.
Marsh’s remix of ’Sun In Your Eyes’ was debuted by Above & Beyond themselves during their iconic ABGT600 Deep Warmup Set, which saw the trio play live from a boat on the Xochimilco canals in Mexico City. They played it again during their headlining set at Anjunadeep Open Air London festival in Finsbury Park this past spring.
'Sun In Your Eyes’ has previously seen remixes by Anjuna veteran Spencer Brown, as well as legendary British producer William Orbit.

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"] Marsh’s remix of Above & Beyond’s “Sun In Your Eyes,” released on the Anjunadeep label, is a masterclass in reimagining a beloved classic while showcasing advanced production techniques and meticulous attention to sonic detail. Originally featured on the trio’s 2011 “Group Therapy” album as a sweeping ambient journey, the track has now been transformed into a 126 BPM progressive gem that straddles the line between house and trance. The remix’s technical finesse and emotional resonance make it a standout both in the studio and on the dance floor. From the very first measures, the remix establishes a deep, immersive atmosphere through carefully layered pads and spatial effects that create an expansive stereo field. Marsh introduces subtle percussive elements with precise EQ and filtering, allowing the groove to breathe naturally while maintaining clarity across the spectrum. The rhythm and groove are consistently tight, with a driving low-end that locks perfectly with the kick, making the track a dream for DJs in terms of BPM consistency and sync ease. The use of stereo-imaged hi-hats and micro-delays adds a hypnotic shimmer to the groove, enhancing the track’s club-ready energy. The melodic development is where the remix truly shines. Marsh preserves the emotional essence of the original while weaving in new harmonic layers, creating a lush interplay of arpeggiated synths and evolving textures. The breakdown is a cinematic moment, building tension with ethereal vocal snippets and gently modulated leads that rise into a soaring, euphoric climax. The transitions, drops, and build-ups are executed with precision, using automated reverb tails, dynamic filtering, and sidechain compression to maintain fluid energy flow and momentum throughout the arrangement. Production quality is impeccable, with a polished and balanced mix that displays professional-level dynamic range and loudness management. The low-end remains punchy without overpowering the midrange, while the highs sparkle cleanly, achieving a modern progressive sound that is both warm and spacious. Marsh’s selective use of effects, including subtle phasers, shimmering delays, and enveloping reverbs, enhances the track’s spatial design and emotional storytelling without ever feeling overproduced. Creatively, the remix reflects Marsh’s distinct artistic identity while honoring the timelessness of Above & Beyond’s original composition. Its cohesive structure and narrative flow make it not only a track that tells a story but also a set staple capable of commanding a festival crowd. The combination of vocal immersion, harmonic richness, and dynamic energy ensures strong crowd reaction potential and high replay value. This remix is a pure gold reinterpretation that bridges nostalgia with forward-thinking production, cementing its place as a progressive anthem for both intimate club floors and expansive festival stages.#PureGold Love IT[/content]
