Brazil is one of the nine countries that will be focused on during the interactive format within ADE Pro.
ADE's new Country Focus format featuring keynote presentations and networking sessions kicks off with Brazil. The country is now the number 2 country in terms of Electronic Music related economy, behind only the United States.
In a more general sense, Brazil can be seen as one of the main global cultural exporters. Since the late 80's electronic music has become one of its main cultural assets. In the mid 90's, techno and house arrived at the average Brazilian and with them, a new lifestyle was born. Since then, electronic music has become like a fever in a country already well known for its festive appetite. Juliana Cavalcanti, founder of Reality Agency will guide ADE delegates through Brazilian dance music industry and its history with a talk punctuated by her unique sense of humor.
At this year's ADE, Brazilian artist Gui Boratto will make his seventh appearance by performing at De Marktkantine x Kompakt on Saturday. In addition, the Brazilian Fernanda Martins will be present at the Panama Opening Party, playing alongside Jay Lumen, Mark Reeve, Pleasurekraft and many more. Other artists representing Brazil in multiple genres during ADE will be Anna, Element, S.P.Y and Leandro Da Silva.
Country Focus - Brazil will be held on Wednesday, October 17th from 1.30 PM until 2.30 PM at DeLaMar Theater.
