REVIEW: Lange & Kirkwood - Weaponized out on Create Music

While the first release on Create Music, Lange’s “Wired To Be Inspired” continues to build momentum; he’s back on our second label release, this time alongside Scottish tech rising star, Stephen Kirkwood. This is their first venture in the studio together and certainly won’t be their last.

“Weaponized” takes off with a unique bouncy rhythm leading in to deep rumbling bass that sets the scene before flowing in to a spine tingling, ethereal breakdown of pads, plucks, and warm bass drones.

An almighty euphoric stab riff reminiscent of the early trance sound is the reward at the end of the break. The kick soon returns to give the track a heightened level of purpose before the track takes another twist, stopping for breath briefly then dropping into a bass monstrosity.

A huge second single on Create and an incredible first single from this pairing.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Create Music has been successfully launched under the protective wings of Black Hole recordings and now the 2nd release has just landed right and exact for the mainstage trance sets at the big summer festivals. Lange collaborates with the unstoppable Kirkwood for the mind stretching Weaponized. We deal with a clean and sharp tech trancer with tribal chunky drums, rolling driving aggressive bassline while on top various dark themes are added. The breakdown is characterised from the main synthy hook that is truly epic and anthemic to the bone. The climax has the full on in your face sound with heavy basslines and euphoric synthy stabs while on a second shorter breakdown heavenly child choir like vocal is introduced to bring shivers from head to toe. Its definitely difference from produce music and create music! #PureGold Love It
