Three Drives (On A Vinyl) has been in the music industry for more than 20 years and started out as a duo of Erik de Koning and Ton van Empel. Their most well known hit singles are ‘Greece 2000’, ‘Sunset On Ibiza’ and ‘Air Traffic’. In 2014 Erik and Ton decided to go separate ways and Erik continues Three Drives by himself. He plans on pursuing to hit dance floors around the globe with amazing trance music.

Dimitri Kechagias review: It's about time the beloved classic trance project Three Drives to come back right on time with the year that trance is officially back in full force with sold out events around the world. Many claimed when first time trance was around that is just a trend that will slowly fade away and suddenly would disappear but as it seems trance is powerful and imaginative music style that will always captivate the human mind because maybe it focuses straight away on the melody that is part of our life as every human being has its own melody inherited deep inside and even more if we want to elaborate every country has its own personal inherited kind of melodies as well. Enough with theory and lets go straight away to the point that is the first official Three Drives single after a long time with the stunning Summer Madness. The track applies the classic trance kick and bassline that is associated with Three Drives and the Dutch trance legacy. The first small intro breakdown is used to build tension and excitement and move on the next sequence that darker techy sounds are added along with sharp synth stabs that remind classic Tiesto production. Slowly the summery euphoric synthy lead is added to take us by the hand towards the imaginative breakdown that starts with marching drums to highlight the importance of the moment along with orchestral music strings and melodies. Very soon the euphoric synth replace that more theatrical part and the track explodes out of proportion on the massive climax with euphoric synths recreating that classical music theme and energising mind, body and soul simultaneously and instantly too! The upcoming female dj & producer Miss Bo delivers the full on uplifting trance version and she does it with great style as she toughens the proceedings with pounding kicks, energetic driving basslines, acid overtones, chord progression that hook you instantly.
