Counting varied tastemakers such as Sebastian Ingrosso, Above & Beyond, Dada Life and Armin Van Buuren among those hammering his recent releases, the mercurial Andrew Bayer returns with another edge-cutting big room monster in the slammin' "Bullet Catch".
Splicing up electro, progressive and trance in his seamless style, "Bullet Catch" shoots out the blocks with a tough and twisted bass-driven groove. Dropping into a trademark musical breakdown that is epic, dramatic and atmospheric in equal measures, "Bullet Catch" then slams hard into a infectious, big room groove that twists and turns in style. Yet another reminder of Bayer's incomparable big room sound.
Dimitri Kechagias review: One of the most prolific and quickly rising to the top eclectic EDM magician is Andrew Bayer. The very talented producer service quality productions and remixes and he manage to establish his own big room mainstage sound. His releases so far prove his endless creativity and fantastic talent to come up with fresh juicy tracks that can touch your senses and uplift the crowd to the 7th skies and above that of course. Bullet Catch is not an exception and is a high class, high precision, tight and solid composed cracker that will rise like a phoenix at the top of the charts and become part of trance, progressive and electro house sets. Bullet Catch exemplifies the brand new Anjunabeats sound that is brilliant crossover between different genres in order to come up with something that stands out and is not a copy paste thing. It starts all bouncy with heavy rough groove, aggressive distorted bassline that sounds very techy and rough but works like a treat to ignite the dancefloor from the first seconds. The little short breakdown builds the tension even higher and we move on the manic and quirky rough sequence towards the main breakdown that starts with melancholic piano melody combined with heavenly vocals that crawl under your skin and cast a spell on you. You feel unable to do nothing else rather than raising your hands to the sky and feel the radiation from the shaking ground as the track builds towards the final attack on the dancefloor. The climax is moving and grooving with its brilliant rhythm and groove that combines roughness with mesmerising atmosphere and some feel good synths as well. The final sequence closes the track as it started in truly techy cranchy underground style. It is hard to catch a bullet like this banger! #PureGold Mainstage Bullet to be exact! Love IT
