Platipus stays faithful to the trance music origins and widens our horizon of what we should consider trance except the big room or uplifting trance sound. The latest release Cloud by POB aka Paul Brogden's will definitely win your attention as it sounds so fresh and pure underground trance. The original mix is hypnotic, driving, electronic, melodic, acidic and so Trance with capital T. The hypnotic female vocal and the whole atmosphere puts you in the so called Trance State. With closed eyes and open ears you move to the rhythm feeling the ground pounding along with the loud loudspeakers. Terra Ferma remix is deeper alternative trance version with haunting dark and infectious groove that very soon attract your attention and absorb you into its weird acid trance soundscape. Its the kind of track that takes you way back to the classic trance sounds that young trance faithfuls should try to discover and appreciate. The finest remix on the package is by the beloved son of trance Airwave. Laurent once again service a huge anthemic version with tribal drums, warm strings, dark cinematic atmosphere and incredible application of the main acid riff that very nicely drives the track to its final destination.
