If you had to take only one tune to Ibiza with you this summer,, i think you'd be hard pressed to find a better candidate than this new offering from Tal Freaks!
In its original form, its a slow dark swaying slab of emotive tech, with a big bassline and side chained synths. Subtle melodies snap in & out of this, alongside twisted vox shots.Uplifting underground house music!
The Justin Allen remix lifts the vibe with a skippy retro house mix, twisting up the vocal & melodies into one smooth rolling cut..
while Robert Mint provides what has to be his finest work to date.. a crisply produced soulful deep house take on things, with prominent drums, and fluttering melodies, alongside a warm moving bass & subtle but uplifting Rhodes keys.. wow! quite simply seven & half minutes of blissful summer sounds
Finally Dulcet gives the track a tougher edge , with sharp percs and bouncy bass alongside rising electronic synths
Dimitri Kechagias review: Super production from Tali Freaks aka Gerardo Cinquegrana on Babylon / Baroque records. He brings at the finest moment of the summer the superb and really sweet and relaxing summery kissed anthem September Canal. The original mix is deep atmospheric hypnotic balearic tech house beauty at its finest. With cinematic atmosphere, super groovy percussion, feel good positive melodies and even some chopped vocal parts the track will carry your body and soul for a nice journey. Very danceable but so refreshing and relaxing at the same time will definitely leave you rejuvenated at the end of it. Justin Allen constructs a super beautiful remix packed with sweet melodies, vocal samples and congo like instruments. It has that tribal summery feeling that crawls under your skin very easily and you can sense the goosebumps from head to toe. Excellent synths and very uplifting climax after the dreamy breakdown. Robert Mint is going really well and I would love to see him with full album on Baroque labels. His remix is the epitome of what we can define as balearic house of 2013. Very groovy, sexy and erotic with arousing percussion and jazzy undertones. It sounds very early 90's but with totally modern conception and execution. Last but not least Dulcet version is pretty cool as well. With totally different take that is much more playful with a nice rhyhm that has something really magical to it. It will manage easily to lock you into its groove and get you on board. So with open ears and eyes enjoy 4 great productions that keep the progressive house movement alive and fresh! Love IT!
