ADE’s conference confirmed Sunburn festival founder Shailendra Singh, recently named as one of the Top 50 most powerful people in the EDM world by InTheMix, and SFX Entertainment's Head of Acquisitions Shelly Finkel.
Singh, joint-Managing Director of Percept, started Sunburn in 2007 in association with Nikhil Chinapa, and the event, which attracts over 50,000 people, has since come to be known as the face of dance music in Asia. Alongside Singh, SFX Entertainment's Head of Acquisitions Shelly Finkel will be taking part in ADE Pro and ADE University. On behalf of SFX, Finkel recently took a majority stake in Dutch event organiser ID&T, as well as acquiring electronic music download platform Beatport.
